Humiliation. Humiliation is all that she has ever known about her cub hood and nothing else except that she has two other brothers. As her mother’s cult forbade her to have cubs even though they were gifts from another timeline and the deities of the sanctuary fell under strict rules for having children, Loralei,Huxley, and Mort were named and swiftly discarded into the world of evil beasts and mad lions. But as the cubs huddled together lions from different prides came up and adopted each youngling and molding them into their newfound pride.

Bur as she grew under Mōrana’s care, the demon lioness blessed Loralei with elegant shadowy tendrils that came out only at night, when she is in trouble or whenever she wanted to induce terror into other lions on foggy nights at sea. She grew to enjoy sailing and well after working under several different crews, she fell in love with the dynamics of the Privateers fear and became one of their top notch sailors with the help of Kichea. Loralei quickly bonded with her and figured out a new way of life as well as come to terms with her past. She was no longer humiliated but she now wishes that she could contact her family members.
