► Details

Species
Fallen Seraphim
Height
5'11"
GenderGenderfluid (any pronouns)
Sexuality
Pansexual
OccupationTrying not to die... and looking good

► Notes

►The three sets of wings are integral to his design if he is viewed alone. When among non-omnipotent humanoids, though, he (usually) is not seen with them.

►He has no permanent setting, so you can use him wherever, whenever. I try-- and like-- to keep it high-fantasy oriented, however.

►You are welcome to pair them with Meli'aki, like I do, LOL but do keep in mind they rarely meet in canon. (sniff, tear)

► Likes & Dislikes

: People, places... Things. Sleeping-- which is novel and almost hilarious, food, and... Babies? How strange are they: simply fabulous little spoiled, useless bags of meat.

: Most animals as they are easily provoked for no good reason, pitchforks, water-- especially oceans and strong rivers, extreme heat

► Backstory

Chigiri used to be a good Seraphim until they looked in a reflective surface. Their mere reaction to seeing themselves-- an overwhelming amount of disgust and frustration-- put them on a watchlist by the divine ruler of the universes.

It wasn't long before they were stripped of their rank, looks, and most of their omnipotent powers... All over changing their face, their body, their colors.
[for reference, Chi looked a lot like Meli'aki lol]

Even before their transformation, they weren't a good protector or assistant to the divine ruler anyway, so it was bound to happen that eventually they'd be exiled. The problem is, for most Seraphim, exile just means death, as they no longer are wanted or have purpose. But Chigiri went against the mold and refused/refuses (since he still hasn't given up) to be put down or put himself down.

He's managed to elude several executioners in the span of 500 years. All of this has turned him slippery and wily. But put him in the presence of humanoids/worldly creatures and he's not much different than a lazy cat, resting and grooming himself   he has no reason to fear them, and quite likes the dynamic of being the 'better' of them all.

► Personality

Chi can come off extremely cat-like; impulses are chased and then the rest of his time he dedicates to grooming and relaxing.

Maybe if you found him ~600 years ago he'd be much more strict, even considered paranoid, but now, his fate has been sealed in his mind, and he finds this 'running away' routine easy to work with. Other Seraphim rarely think like he does, and so he often goes decades without hiding or traversing times and universes.

As his story suggests, Chigiri can be extremely material and narcissistic. He doesn't consider the needs or desires of others too often, unless it is shoved in his face or he is constantly chastised over it.

Sometimes he even tries to make impressive displays of power to get what he wants-- whether it be a humanoid, or peace of mind, or even a little worship. He does his best to stay harmless and out of the way (...only if he has no interest in something or someone, however).

► Trivia

►As a Fallen Seraphim-- blood of the omnipotent still coursing through them-- they can still wander through space and worlds/universes, and go unnoticed by those not looking for them (i.e. invisibility/incorporeal body where needed), but other seraphim and omnipotent beings spot Chigiri sticking out like a sore thumb.
It doesn't help that they quite like the creatures of the world, and takes to look after them and their delicate bodies/faces. So they've definitely touched up their looks since the first marking of exile.

►Cursed to only be capable of speech with omnipotent beings... So thankfully he can't say his ridiculous, vain thoughts and questions to humanoids and creatures.
