His father Arnaud North won 2 driver's championships from 1992-1993 and bankrolled his entry into motorsport, where he took championships in karting, Asian F3 and the F2 championship in 2019. Julien has been touted to be the next legend in F1 history, but his journey to the top step of motorsport has been hampered by the efforts of his long-time rival Seb Clarke.
