Rashelle is a dessert fae, more specifically, a chocolate fairy. She has a sly and teasing character, but generally means well despite her mischief. Rashelle often has a soft spot for children and takes care of them like a mature adult most of the time. Her speciality is velvety and rich chocolate textures/desserts, earning her the nickname of 'Velvet' among her peers. She is in a relationship with Rintus, and has been for many years now.

Backstory - Family
Rashelle was born the only child of a pair of poor, but hard-working dessert fae, her mother specializing in chocolate and her father in cinnamon. They owned a family cafe, named Lu Fortuna, and were quite popular in the city. The pair were a little silly and clumsy at times, somehow causing Rashelle to grow up quite responsibly, but were loving and sincere in nature.

Backstory - Parents’ Business Exploitation
As Rashelle grew, she came to notice why her family was poor despite their good business, diligence and great efforts. Her parents were easy to dupe and had been exploited by a certain supply company for many years, selling overpriced ingredients that were advertised as ‘one of a kind’ and a ‘rare steal’. They were contracted every year, talked into it by a cunning and persuasive businessman. They were almost contracted for 10-years, with an even more exploitative deal, had Rashelle not interfered in time at the age of 12. After that, she took charge of most of the contract dealings, not seeing them in person obviously at her young age, but making sure everything was in order and fair before letting her parents sign.

Backstory - Education
Rashelle attended Totore Elementary, simply due to it being the closest to her home, only a ten minute walk away. She was one of the few that managed to get into Apiar despite not coming from Tresdany nor being of higher status. The main reason she worked so hard to get into this middle school at the time, was due to her great worries about her parents' naivety, and how most of the other middle schools were on the other side of the city. She chose to go to Elgara after deliberating with Rintus, since they wanted to stay together. Rashelle didn’t want to leave her parents, and Rintus’ needed to go to a prestigious institute, hence Elgara was chosen.

Backstory - Career
Rashelle was initially prepared to inherit her family’s popular cafe as the only child, especially since she set out to study business, trade and cooking under both her parents and in early schooling/library ventures. But since it became possible that she would become Viscountess Fahrice, she has endured tutorship fit for nobles about etiquette and nobility. Although most likely unable to run the cafe in person, she is careful to find trusted people to run it in the future, which seems to be her younger cousin at the moment, since he was already prepared to be her assistant in running it when she was younger.
