Overanxious-but-trying-to-hide it college student who's failing out to pursue his lifelong dream of being an amateur paranormal investigator!  He tries to act tough but has the backbone of a chocolate éclair so he tries to make up for it with leather jackets and piercings.  The ghost who ended up possessing him after an investigation gone wrong loves to tease him about this fact, and about the fact that Darcy adamantly refuses to believe he's haunted in the first place.  It's definitely just a very fast, very sneaky cat who keeps knocking things around his house.  Definitely just that
