Emmet and his twin brother Everette were born to the high ranking politician, Dulcama Hydrancaea, who clearly saw more promise in Everette from a young age. Emmet was too unruly compared to his calculating brother and therefore unfit to follow Dulcama's footsteps in the world of politics. Thinking it would still give him some prestige, Dulcama decided to raise Emmet to be his brother's bodyguard hoping he could ride on the tailcoats of Everette's success. Until he was eighteen, his life was not his own and was spent committing all his resources toward supprting his brother. Both of them clearly unhappy with this arrangement, Everette helped Emmet escape home. Now free to do as he pleases, Emmet is a wandering vigilante dedicated to seeking justice for those in need.
