Thrill-seeking. Stubborn. Aloof. Vinny's generally very low-energy when it comes to socializing-- preferring to stay with those he knows rather than branching out. He's much more expressive around those he trusts, and it's surprising how easy it is to embarrass him or make him lose his cool.
Nowadays, he's a lot more softspoken and is honestly a bit of a crybaby sometimes. He often struggles a bit too much interacting with people but he genuinely cares about others, no matter how much he tries to make it seem otherwise.

Originally an amnesiac struggling with identity and dissociation, Vinny lived an empty life simply going through the motions. After meeting his partner, Vinny had slowly been learning how to feel, much to his own dismay. Not knowing how to cope with being around people, he's gradually learning how to be human.
Now as an easily flustered and grumpy vagabond that enjoys travelling with his partner, Vinny wanders the land to experience the world he's deeply fallen in love with. He seems to follow where ever the stars go, earning him the title, "the Starchaser".

Vinny was raised in the backstreets, growing up learning the combat skills in order to survive in the slums. However, he could never grow to be jaded and was often taken advantage of for his starry eyes and big dreams. Every day, he fell deeper in debt until he was saved when he got hired at L Corp.
He was hired for his fighting ability and because he believed in the company's ideals, proving to be one of the most skilled agents. For this, however, he's constantly sent as frontline to deal with the most dangerous abnormalities. Haseuk's the only reason he'd survive for so long as he anchors Vinny down whenever he dips too far into despair.

Vinny was roughly 14 years old when the calamity occurred, and has no recollection of his life before then. But instead of responding with grief, he took it in stride and became a hired hand to travel the world while helping people. Predictably, because of this and his Echo, he eventually joined the Scions as one of the Warriors of Light.
Initially, Vinny was more than happy to do good for Eorzea. But as time went on, more tragedy befell his allies and he couldn't quite handle the isolation and the pressure anymore. So, he became closed off and aloof, and yet even still he can't stop himself from wanting to help others in times of need.

Haseuk
Best friend & most trusted ally. Vinny... doesn't like describing their relationship, because he's not ready to face the truth of how much Haseuk's grown to mean to him.
"You are so very warm..."
Vinny isn't used to being so close to someone, and so his relationship with Haseuk confuses him greatly. He's both afraid and eternally thankful for this relationship, but wouldn't ever admit either fact. He tells himself that they're close friends, but even he knows that Haseuk's feelings for him are a little deeper than that. As for Vinny's feelings toward Haseuk... he just hopes they can stay together for a long time.
Cihce Reizss
Siblings & twins. Vinny and Cihce grew up apart and thus aren't too close, but Cihce wants to get closer to him. Vinny feels a bit awkward but wants to get closer, too.
"I'm sorry..."
Vinny and Cihce have a bit of a strained but trying relationship. Cihce has dealt with loneliness for all her life and wishes she got to grow up alongside her brother. Vinny feels guilty about how his absence affected her, but because of his difficult personality it's a bit hard for him to bond.
Nonetheless, Cihce still tries to tease him and grow the close sibling relationship she's always wanted.
Mhacha Ardbern
Comrades and mom friend. Mhacha is a bit harsh towards Vinny, but he understands it's because she wants him to go down the right path in life.
"Am I in trouble again...?"
Vinny and Mhacha are both rather quiet individuals and thus have difficulties driving a conversation, but even still they seem to be on a similar wavelength. Additionally, while Vinny tends to do be more willing to commit crime, he wants to do better as he has a strong moral compass. As a result, Mhacha appreciates this an tries to steer him on the right path. Similarly, she tries to give him advice every now and then knowing how overwhelmed Vinny can get. He appreciates this, and looks up to Mhacha-- though he's still embarrassed by being the kid of the group.
Vinny Reizss
Best friend & romantic partner. Haseuk's shining star and the one who helps him keep going in the bleak reality of The City.
"Someone as naive as you can't possibly survive in this city. So, I'll burn it all down-- that you may stay beautifully fragile..."
In this world, Haseuk is much more forward and protective when it comes to Vinny. While he is used to being calloused in order to navigate The City's cruel rules of survival, Vinny isn't. The trials of working at Lobotomy Corporation and the tribulations they endured in The Library pushed them both to the edge of insanity. They could only find comfort in each other, and are much more romantically involved.
They are each other's anchors, and are much more willing to go to more depraved lengths for the other's sake.
Cihce Reizss
Trusted team members & friend. Haseuk respects how capable she is and would be one of the few souls he'd trust with his life.
"We are all looking for our happy ending, and you may be one of the few who deserve it."
Cihce is one of the most capable employees at Lobotomy Corporation, and is his beloved's sister by blood. While Haseuk's methods and brutality unnerve her, she still respects him as the one who watches out for her brother.
Mhacha Ardbern
Comrades and friends. Haseuk is surprised by her strong sense of justice, but is unable to understand it. He can, however, appreciate her methods and calculating nature.
"As much as I tease her, I appreciate having at least one responsible person in our group."
The two couldn't be any more different from each other. Mhacha's morals are a stark contrast to Haseuks which dips dangerously close to depravity. Haseuk sees her as hopeless, but as Vinny looks up to her because of her quest for virtue, he is forced to tolerate her patronizing ideals.
