Hi I’m new at css . Can u . Can u tell me how to upload an image properly? I keep putting in a link to add an image for my pfp and it keeps giving me text instead of a picture
i've run into a really bizarre issue where my second tab's text will merge with the first's until i click on the second tab and back onto the first tab. i have no clue how this happened in the first place and none of the stuff i've tried has worked, i am truly puzzled. any idea what's happened?
it's because you copy and pasted the first tab! which resulted in:
- two tab-pane's having
active show- for this code, you only one of it
- active show means "i want this to show up by default" so having multiple in the same "area" will cause that merging effect
- two
misplaced
</div>'s before the<div class="tab-pane fade" id="foggythree">- there should only be one (for the foggytwo tab) but there's three in total; move the extra two somewhere below
- once you fix this, the character tab will appear normally rather than on top
(also not sure if the credit got eaten by the errors but if it got deleted, please add it back in!)

mmm replacing the current normal link with youtube embeds is a bit tricky to explain as it's more on the complicated side that i don't have the confidence to explain... ;v; but it is possible!! you'd have to have some knowledge with positioning to start with, but i do recommend looking into my other codes and see how i do it!
otherwise, i highly suggest commenting in the help forum! someone may have the time to give you instructions! <333

The profile looks really nice but i have a small issue with the "friends/characters" section, the pictures don't show up and show text instead, is there anyway to fix it ?
for the images, it looks like you paste a link to the character, not an url of the icons! so it should be:

hmmm you probably deleted a </div> somewhere?? you can go to your profile history and retrieve a working version!

it doesn't, you have WYSIWYG on which causes images to change sizes. it is stated in my rules for it to be disabled ^^;
i do disable it but whenever i change something (for example make the text bold) or click 'update profile' it shrinks. anyway, do you know why icons in the link section do this? i used twitter, discord and instagram symbols
hmm i looked at your profile and there are signs of WYSIWYG,, are you using the toggle button or checking it off in your display settings? the toggle button doesn't really do anything and still causes problems ^^;
the icons are using the wrong class; any 'brand' or 'company' icons use a fab, not fas/far/fal/etc. so for twitter, it would be fab fa-twitter and so forth!

hello! I'm attempting to use this but no matter what I do I can't get images to appear and it's starting to stress me out, could I get some help on how to insert images?
it's possible you're using the wrong image url? codes require the image address of what you wish to put in for it to pr; so for example:
- this is wrong
- this is correct (notice how the url ends with a file type and it's nothing BUT the image)
you can get the correct url by the following, depending on what device you're on

another possible problem is the image host site you're using; deviantart's stash is notorious for this as it provides temporary links

you can go to your user settings > profile history to retrieve the code before it broke, or use an online editor like circlejourney's if possible !!

i attempted to edit it, and not the buttons dont seem to work right?
they turn the lighter color, then of you switch to another tab it stays the color and you cant go back into it

are you editing with Code Editor enabled (found in Display Settings)?
what you are describing sounds like an issue that happens if you edit without it; you can read this comment thread for extra details of the same question! :O
hey, the icon image is alwayse shrinking and I can figure out how to fix this. whenever I save the image shrinks down, i dont know if this is an issue for other ppl or just me. I could have accidentally messed the code while editing it but I dont know enought about HTML to be able to fix it. could you help?
image shrinkage is usually because you edited the code with WYSIWYG on, which is stated in my rules to disable before using! qvq)b it adds unnecessary classes which breaks most code layouts
if the icon is the only problem so far, you delete the highlighted/yellow text of the image code: <img src="https://f2.toyhou.se/file/f2-toyhou-se/images/43774110_bkCaXxwIuFWvtRk.png" class="img-thumbnail p-2 mb-2 fr-fic fr-dii" style="max-width:150px;max-height:150px;" width="114" height="114" alt="">
if any more issues arise, it is best to go to your display settings, disable WYSIWYG (for Profile Text), enable Code Editor (if you are on iPad with no physical keyboard or on a phone, you can skip this) and restart the code!! hope this helps!
Is it possible to add more icons for social media links to the code? I'm trying to figure out how to do so since I've got more socials than I used to.

You can pretty much copy and paste the existing section and replace the social with anything available from fontawesome.com (using YouTube as an example).

hey i think the profile playlist and friends buttons on the bottom right only are able to be clicked once, i dont know if its an issue for me or if its for everyone who views my profile?

the <p> should not be there at all YET according to some users, they can't see the <p>. . . if there is no <p> on your side, then i'm not sure how to fix this, sorry!! if you are okay with having all of the tabs into one scroll box, you can add [active show] to the tabs like so to potentially hop over this?

Yeah there is no <p> for mine :( ill try to check around and see what might be the issue. Okay so i put <p>, even though its not supposed to be there, and the buttons worked the same but the colours changed which was weird but im just saying what i tried out, i know nothing about coding but i thought that somehow it might change something. Also as you say that people can't see it, thats really weird because its not that i couldnt see it, it was literally just not there which is again really weird haha. but yeah its okay!! and ill try the active show thing.
Edit: I just checked and on inspect it does show a <p> which is sooooo weird, im determinded to fix this >:(
Edit again: i even went out and researched a bit about html and theres no reason for this happen which is so weird.
Edit again: alright i am not 100% sure about this but apparently it sometimes happens if it doesnt recognize something (source https://stackoverflow.com/questions/20850374/why-there-is-some-extra-p-p-tags-showing-in-the-elements-inspector-of-chro , im not 100% sure, just a suggestion ofc (and they were a chrome user and i use chrome as well)) but it looks all the same from what i copied it from which is sooo weird :(

OOH OKAY!!! I've edited the code and i'm satisfied with what i have right now, so you dont have to worry i got it fixed for me personally (i didnt really need the playlist so i thought if i just removed the buttons it would fix that, and ill figure out how to put the friends list back if i need it)!! I of course left the credit below.
