Caliban grew up with parents who were bad to him but a sister who was his true support and caretaker. He and his sister were very close, but when she moved away to college, he found himself alone in an atmosphere that was harmful to him. Unable to take it any more, he ran away from home. But it was winter, and he got lost in the woods around their house. Not knowing how to fend for himself out in the wilderness, he froze to death in the snow. He and his sister were reunited in death, as a Calamitous Devil and Forget Me Not Angel. She insists on being close to him, even though he is a bit upset that she left him alone. It is hard to be close, because he can hurt her if he touches her, something he feels very guilty about.
