Kou

Kou is a displaced noble after a war with a neighboring country. Growing up, Kou was a very soft-spoken youth with an obsession for swords. He'd carry one of his favorites wherever he went. One day he stumbled upon a church where yet another displaced noble hid out as an altar boy at the time and he was taken in for shelter. Kou and the boy became close but the boy reluctantly accepted a friendship. Kou offered to act as a bodyguard to him instead so that they could remain close. Years later, Kou and the new priest have become inseparable.
