PROFILE

A young and passsionate adventurer who was raised by artic foxes in Dragonspine. Rime loves exploring new places, and travels great lengths together with the "zoologist" Verde. Verde was the one who found him in Dragonspine and taught him the language and ways of human life. When Rime first set out with Verde, he learned of the Ameno legend of the Fox in the Dandelion Sea. Ever since, the passionate Rime has dedicated his life to finding it.

PERSONALITY

Rime is energetic, passionate, and overall very friendly. He can be very naive at times- okay, maybe ALOT of the time-- but his heart is in the right place. He lets his dreams and goals inspire him and keep him going. And he always lends a helping hand to those in need. This gets him into quite a few dangerous situations, but he can't really say it wasn't worth the trouble. Whether it's small and "bothersome" tasks or fending off monsters, Rime just jumps in there without thinking.

RAISED BY FOXES

Rime was raised by artic foxes in the cold and harsh region of Dragonspine. He learned the language of the fox, as well as how to hunt, gather, fight, and survive. He originally fought with a knife, but he discovered a rusty human sword on a hunting trip one day, and took up the art of swordsmanship. But other than this sword, and brief, blurred encounters with strange adventurers, Rime had never really seenn a human up close.

MEETING VERDE/DEPARTURE

When Rime met Verde, he could have never expected that this experience would change his life. One day, when out foraging nearby his den, Rime heard the cries of hillichurls close by. Rime knew that the hillichurls usually didn't make camp so close to his territory, and, sensing that something was amiss, ran to go check it out. There he found a human, on the ground with a Lawlachurl towering over him. Rime leapt onto the scene and managed to distract the Lawlachurl enough that the human could escape. Then, the human finished the Lawlachurl off with some sort of "windy magic" as Rime had first described it. When asked later what it was, the man replied with "A Vision." Afterwards, the human began teaching Rime the language of humans as he set up camp nearby Rime's den. Rime learned that he was a "zoologist", someone who researchs and takes care of animals, and that his artic fox family was "endangered." Rime learned many more things from the man, who called himself Verde, and the two soon became fast friends. Eventually, when it was Verde's descion to leave, Rime decided to go with him, and the two of them began traveling the world.

VISION/DREAM

While Rime traveled to distant lands, he learned of the Anemo legend of the Fox in the Dandelion Sea. It became his dream to find it, but one dangerous adventure he embarked on almost ended it for him. Yet he only came out with reinforced resolve. During this adventure, Rime and Verde were suddenly attacked by a Cryo Regisvine. Rime thought that he and Verde were really going to die there, and almost gave up, but the gods took pity on Rime and granted him a Pyro Vision. Rime defeated the Cryo Regisvine, and with his morale boosted and his ambition unwavering, he set off once again to reach the Dandelion Sea no matter what, and have many more meaningful adventures.

VERDE

PLATONIC FRIENDSHIP

The first human Rime ever befriended was Verde. Verde has a tendency to keep secrets, but doesnt tend to keep them from Rime. Just like Verde trusts Rime, Rime trusts Verde, and comes to him for basically anything. Verde is like an older brother or father figure to Rime, but most importantly, Rime's dearest friend. Rime looks up to him a lot.

XIANGLING

FRIENDS, FRIENDLY RIVALS

Rime shares Xiangling's love of weird food, but mostly just because he loves food in general. Still, the two get along especially well, and because Xiangling taught him how to cook, the two developed a sort of cooking rivarly. Xiangling is still way better at cooking than Rime, but her humble attitude keeps Rime inspired to keep cooking and getting better.

VENTI

CLOSE FRIENDS/RIVALS

Rime met Venti one day while Verde was shopping for supplies in Mondstadt. Rime slipped away to go explore around Windrise. When arrivng at the great tree at Windrise, Rime noticed a boy in green on the ground, with a huge Anemo Slime right in front of him. Thinking that the boy was in danger, Rime rushed in and fended off the slime. He asked the boy if he was okay, but the boy just laughed and said "Never better!" The two struck up a conversation, and ended up playing together. "If you can beat me in six classic Mondstadt children's games, I, the great bard Venti, will accept a humble defeat!" Venti suggested, challenging Rime. Rime accepted, and the two of them ran around Mondstadt, playing games and having fun all day. Rime managed to win the first five games, but lost the sixth. "That was the most fun i've had in a thousand years!" Venti exclaimed, a big grin on his face. "You're weird," Rime said, but he was smiling too. He then frowned. "But I didn't win." Venti put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, we can always play again some other time! What's your name?" Rime looked up "Rime." Venti smiled. "Okay, Rime! I promise that any time you want to play, I, Venti, will always find you! From now on, let's be rivals!" "Rivals in what?" Rime asked. "Why, games of course!" Venti replied, with a wink. "So don't be sad, okay?" Rime smiled. "...Okay! Then we're rivals now!!" Venti grinned. "Promise!"
