Taffy manipulative horse boy
Sweet as candy on the inside, self-serving survivalist inside. Tries to come off as unassuming and unthreatening so his past full of shenanigans never catches up to him. It generally works. Exhaustingly peppy and cheerful, likes to blow kisses.
Finds most organized Frag groups generally... annoying, or too stifling to join. The COR's rules and overreach make him nervous about attending, but outlier groups like the Shards are nothing more than anarchistic terrorists. But staying unaffiliated isn't the way either - he's liable to get eaten by a stronger Frag, harvested for liquid magic, or just straight-up killed in some drive-by black market shooting.
So, what to do?
Answer: find someone's pocket and get into it. Such an answer fell into his lap as Ophion, an extremely powerful scientist who prefered to live by his own rules in the wilderness between Timelines. Originally expecting to have to prove himself to be competent and engaging, Taffy was pleasantly shocked to find out Ophion was hellishly lonely and just kinda wanted a friend.
Yeah, ok, Taffy caught feels too. Whatever.
He spends his days as Ophion's lab assistant, getting ingredients for him and handling low-stakes negotiations. Since everyone knows he's Ophion's favorite, few are willing to throw hands with him. Which is great!
