There's something about her that makes Dorian feel at ease... shes strong, kind and protective. "She makes days feel less dull, more colorful... more warm... this feeling of home is something I didn't expect to feel it again... thank you"
Art sees Dori as a sort of "little brother" despite the fact that he's much older than she is, and much... taller than her. But also at the same time he also fits under the "older brother" figure when her temper gets the best of her and he can bring her back to earth. Art is very passionate and red, while Dori is cool headed and calm, so in a way he's one of the people who can calm her down easily without having to try too much. Just a tiny squeeze of a hug would make her laugh and forget why she was so mad in the first place
She's also extremely protective over Dori, he's not the type to voice what's bothering him so she makes sure to go out of her way to make sure he's well fed, fully hydrated, and gets some rest after a long day of gardening. She knows she can get overbearing at times, but Dori never dismisses her or says anything ill of her, which makes her very relieved and more comfortable to be herself around him too. Art is naturally a worrywart, but taking care of Dori isn't a chore at all, it's something she wants to do because he's very important to her and takes care of her too, in ways she doesn't pick up on but she finds herself smiling and feeling more at ease around him.
