Personality swapping wasn't programmed correctly, causing it to swap at random. Was created with a failsafe to help reboot back to the original, or 'Core' personality

Limb regeneration (fairly long and painful process, but makes them virtually immortal so long as their hardwiring doesn't get overly damaged), glitching out and 'bleeding' when rebooting from a personality overload
