Intro
Skye is a staple of Everton, being the only resident with healing magic. This responsibility has made her quite a recognizable figure in town, and given her compassionate attitude, many find Skye to be a welcome sight. She is generally likeable and easy to get along with.
A hopeless romantic at heart, Skye is not often seen without her somewhat broody girlfriend Piper. The two are a yin-yang in terms of their personalities, making them an interesting pair. Despite this, its easy to see that they love one another dearly and would do anything to protect each other.
Appearance

The mark of a priest is one not easily missed; these golden symbols are often located on a priest's forehead or temple. The priests' markings are often associated with clinics and hospitals in Abirelle, due to many doctors working there being priests themselves. Skye's own symbol is on her forehead, and resembles a circlet.
Skye's hair is very curly, and somewhat unkempt albeit in a cute fashion. A good portion of Skye's bangs is swept aside, significantly longer and bleached golden blonde. Skye's eyes are gold, matching her priest markings and hair.
Skye's interests are evident in her clothing choices. Skye often wears a brown, short-brimmed bunny hat, or a pair of mary-janes with rabbit ears. Skye typically prefers shorts and a blouse for casual attire, and is never seen without her glasses. Additionally, Skye will absolutely never leave home without her ring.
Skye has a small pinky-promise tattoo located on her collarbone, matching one Piper has.

About
Befitting of her healing abilities, Skye is an empath with a big heart and a passion for helping others. Skye firmly believes that there is good in everyone, and is more than willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt, even if others typically wouldn't. This outlook, while wholesome, is somewhat naive and can sometimes lead Skye to unintentionally becoming an enabler for toxic behaviors exhibited by others. In addition to this, Skye is nonconfrontational and often lets friends exploit her kindness simply because she'd rather avoid upsetting them.
Given her somewhat passive nature, its not surprising that Skye is sensitive. She dislikes arguing for many reasons, one of those being that she easily gets her feelings hurt. Although luckily, Skye's girlfriend Piper is the exact opposite, and won't stand by and let others upset her partner.
Skye's compassion and love for others is evident most clearly in her affection towards her life partner, Piper. Skye finds that the biggest reward in life is love and family, and strives to show appreciation for her girlfriend at any opportunity she has. Its almost unheard of to see Skye without Piper nearby, and many in Everton believe that they complete eachother in that sense.

- Skye texts very excitedly, using exclamation marks and emoticons quite a bit. Some may not expect it given her sweet nature, but Skye swears like a sailor in texts.
- Skye and Piper have a pet cat named Jin.
- Skye refers to herself as a lesbian, but she's not quite sure that it is a fitting label.
- Skye is a closet horror fan. While she enjoys almost anything horror related, her favorite is phychological horror, such as Silent Hill and Fatal Frame.
- Perhaps as an extension of her interest in both horror and psychology, Skye also enjoys crime documentaries and fictional crime TV series, like Criminal Minds.
- Skye's favorite thing to eat is sunny-side-up eggs. She also has a major sweet tooth.
- Skye's full first name, Skyler, means "scholarly". Her surname, McCloud, is a Scottish surname derived from a clan originating on the Isle of Skye.
Magic and Abilities
Auditory Magic
Magic users in Abirelle are capable of casting through a variety of means. This includes spell books, potions, wands, or projection such as in Skye's case. Most magicians require a sort of physical media to draw magic from; priests like Skye are born with golden markings on their forehead or temple, which provide a source of magic. These markings glow upon use of the priest's abilities.
Priests typically cast spells through projection, due to their source of magic being located on their body, rather than in a wand or staff. While Skye uses her abilities via singing, some other priests may dance, announce a spell, or perform a series of specific hand movements.
Healing in Abirelle works differently than medicine. Typically, a priest may be able quicken the healing process of a wound, ease mental distress, or temporarily relieve symptoms of illness. Priests are highly welcome staff members in hospitals and clinics, but they cannot heal a disease simply by use of their magic.
Skye specializes in providing comfort to those around her. Through singing, Skye can alleviate anxiety and panic. This ability is particularly helpful when Piper suffers panic attacks. Unfortunately, priests cannot self-heal, meaning Skye isn't able to reduce her own anxiety.
It should be noted that this ability does need to be activated by a specific song or type of song. Any song Skye sings will provide mental ease, although Skye's own investment in her singing affects her healing abilities.
