Kind and gentle-hearted by nature, Noma is an otherworldly alien-like creature with an immense fondness for humans. Despite the technicality that his species is very slowly invading Earth (and feeding off energy in the process,) Noma is a stickler for what it calls "human rights"...which is basically just the right to exist on their own without being parasitized upon. He is extremely passionate about this, though, which along with his relatively young age makes him a pariah among his kind.
This mindset isn't so black-and-white in Noma's case, however. Unlike the rest of his kind, he needs far less energy to exist, and he has the unique power to recycle what energy he does absorb, over and over again. While he could grow to be extremely powerful because of it, Noma is a little too innocent to think about the possibilities-- all he wants is to somehow become just like the little humans he's grown so fond of.
