Shurak was once a very solitary Emp, originally ostracised since a young age due to his standoffish attitude, but later disliking social contact altogether despite being part of a species known for being empathetic. He was instead, a very dedicated person to whatever caught his interest, whether that be cooking, fighting or gardening. He had grown tired of trying to get close to people and trying to fit in, only for all of that effort to be for nought. It was a waste of time. At least, until he became acquainted with Nael. Now, afraid of losing such a precious companion, he rarely strays far from him, pursuing his interests around the planet with his lover by his side.
