Kallik's face does not betray him, what you see is what you get. Well, for the most part. 

Kallik is born to the most prestigious family in Siquneq, one whose got the closest and most intimate ties to their God of Ice, Siku. Not only is he part of this prestigious family, but he is the most powerful of them all. His connection to his god is undeniable, having even the ability to see Siku; a rare skill even amongst the chosen Pitka ancestors. 

Because he's aware he's to be a leader, Kallik has always felt he needed to remain dignified and serious at all times. It wasn't the hardest thing for him; he's a naturally serious boy. He doesn't like making a fool of himself and tries to always emulate the leadership skills he sees in his family.

However, he's still young at heart. His eyes light up when he's excited, a little blush across his cheeks. He also gets flustered easily, if you know his weak spots. He still likes having fun, though you need to coax him a bit to get him to go out. Thankfully, since Siku has such a strong bond with him, he can typically convince Kallik to enjoy festivities and live out his childhood while he still can.

On the topic of Siku, Kallik treats him as something between a god and a father. Siku has always been in his life, and he's grown to always wanting to please him; in return, he gets praised. Siku gets to see the most pure forms of Kallik, who lets his guard down and does his best to get more praises from him. Much as a child tries to from their parent or teacher. 

【 STORY 】

BACKSTORY

"How come you said when I get older, I stop seeing you? I still see you perfectly."

Kallik is born into the prestigious Pitka family, a family that partially rules over the nation. The Pitka family has earned that right due to their faithfulness being rewarded; in return, their god Siku is bonded to the family and shares a special connection to them. Kallik was born not too long after his great grandfather passed away, and became the new Pitka with the strongest connection to god.

Kallik was special though. Even the most connected Pitka family members could only hear Siku, could only sense him. Kallik though, can see him. This wasn't viewed as strange when he was a baby; babies are closer to the spiritual realm though. It was believed as he grew closer to the double digits, he'd lose the ability to see Siku. Now he's 15, and still can see Siku as though he were standing right next to him.

He realizes how special he is, even amongst the Pitka ancestors. Thus, he takes his position seriously. He wants only to make Siku proud and go above and beyond his wishes and expectations. On the flipside, he's missed out on enjoying many festivals and being a kid, something that makes Siku rather sad.

CURRENT

"... You... want me to go... play?"

Kallik hadn't realized that when Siku came to Siquneq, it had been in a solid, human form. When he was made aware of this, he knew that something truly special- and awful- had happened. Siku had purposefully accompanied Elian to recover followers and save his life. Siku knew his people would listen to him, so they travel to the Ice nation to ask for followers to convert- or at least switch their elemental magic from Ice to Nature.

Though Kallik would be a key player in taking Nature, he felt his position was to embody everything that represents his Ice God, and that included keeping his Ice element. Still, he is chosen to accompany the group. Both Kallik and Siku seemed content with this decision; it's likely because they view each other closer to family. A father/son dynamic, more than anything else. 

After Rhys and Alys, Kallik is the next to be added to the group; an early addition to the squad.

Kallik is human, born to human parents. However, his claim to fame is being born to the prestigious Pitka family. The family with the closest connection to their god; and he himself is the chosen amongst the chosen family.
