Personality

Chill, fun loving, social, curious independent and carefree. Has a tendency to float away from his trainer without really thinking it as running away.

Appearance

Veeti is about 1 m tall ball of cotton, meaning he's rather large for a Whimsicott. He also has slightly longer horns than most of his kind.

Life

Veeti was living peacefully in the flower fields of Lemidae before one day a young girl, Miranda, lured the Cottonee to come with her into her home. The curious Pokémon followed without hesitation and was then caught by the little trainer, but it seemed like Veeti never fully grasped the concept of belonging to someone. He was happy to play and spend time with Miranda, but when he got bored he often just floated away, leaving his trainer to run after him in distress. Cottonee never meant any harm by that and he really did care about Miranda in his own relaxed way, but he was just too free-spirited to abandone his own whims for the sake of someone else's will.

During the years Veeti did get used to living with humans and even by human rules a tiny bit more. When Miranda's parents thought both of them were ready for it, they gave their daughter a Sun Stone as a present. With it Veeti was able to evolve to Whimsicott. Prior to the evolution Miranda had battled with her Pokémon very infrequently, but after the event the couple tried it out more seriously. Though rather soon it became clear neither the trainer nor Pokémon really enjoyed competitive battling, and so they decided to focus on just having fun together instead of aiming to challenge gyms. For Veeti that sort of lifestyle suited more than nicely!
