Hi gamers. I think I am becoming too much of a hater to stay active on TH. If you're wondering why I locked all my game threads out of the blue, that's why--can't be bothered modding stuff here anymore. If anyone wants to remake a thread, go for it.

I'm not gonna fully abandon this place--you can still contact me, and if you want to see my blorbos I can set up some auth keys when I have the spoons. I simply am not enjoying it as much as I used to. I miss the Good Old Days when this site was smaller, but I've accepted they ain't comin back. Being on here has started to just feel like going through the motions--I've realised I feel disconnected from it all, and that I've kinda been pouring my energy into nothing for a while now. Either the vibes in here or my mental health needs to pick up, and I'm not counting on either for the foreseeable future. So I'm just gonna be winding things down. Gradually. See how it feels. Maybe I'll get active here again. Maybe not. We'll see. Let's call this a hiatus for now.

To all the friends and cool people I've met on here, thanks for the rad times. TH was my fav and only hangout for more than half a decade. and you guys where what made it awesome. I'll probably be going somewhere offsite. Not sure where. Probably neocities or something. I'll keep you posted, so... watch this space 👍

[commission/prices thread]

Payment:

My prices are all quoted in USD, and payment is to be via PayPal. As soon as the details of the commission are confirmed and good to go, I will send you an invoice and get to work on the thumbnail sketch. I won't progress pass the thumbnail phase until I've received payment.

I'm prepared to discuss payment plans for sums of $150 and above. Anything less, I'll need up front.

Usage:

I retain moral rights of all my work, which basically just means "don't use my work to be a dick" and "credit me when you repost". Otherwise, I release noncommercial use of the things you commissioned unto you. You're free to use and distribute work I do for you in any way which doesn't make any money (directly or indirectly).

I won't use work I did for you for anything which directly makes me more money, but I may use it in my portfolios and galleries and provide it as commission examples.

Refunds:

I do not offer refunds unless I am for some reason unable to complete your work. In the unlikely event something comes up which prevents me from completing your commission, I'll offer to refund you completely.

Revisions and WIPs:

I want you to be happy with what I make. By default, I offer an approval/revision stage in which you get to approve the thumbnail sketch before I'll accept payment. You can opt to forgo this and let me go straight ahead with the painting stage if you like surprises--the benefit here being a faster turnaround--but we'll lose the option of major revisions.

A major revision would be something like a change of pose or composition--anything big and foundational to the piece. Once the thumbnail has been okayed, I can only offer small revisions--adding a marking or accessory, fixing the colour of something, etc...

I always strive for accuracy when I'm paid to depict someone else's OCs, but if for whatever reason you wish to edit work yourself, you're welcome to do so.

Turnaround Time:

I like to get things done as soon as I can, and stick to whatever timeframe I've quoted you. Of course, my speed will depend on factors such as commission complexity as well as whatever's going on in my own real life. A standard estimate is 1-2 weeks, but the quote I give you for a particular piece at a particular time will be more accurate.

I guarantee completion within the 180-day chargeback window, since I believe the client should always be protected. If it's gonna be that long, I'd sooner just offer a refund and cancellation of the work.

Adopts/Designs:

Once they're yours, they're yours. You may use and alter designs purchased from me in any way you like. Change genders, species, whatever. Use them however you want. Feature them in a big commercial venture. You can trade, resell, and even flip 'em for a profit if you want. Power to ya--just ensure that I am always credited.

Note that all my standard permissions apply to the artwork itself. You may use the design for whatever you want, but my artwork is to remain for noncommercial use only.

Credit:

You're free to reupload my work wherever you like, just remember to credit at least one of my accounts: Aarix on Toyhouse, tumblr, and furaffinity, @/AarixOrb on newgrounds.

Also, please only credit NSFW art to my NSFW accounts, BadAarix on Toyhouse and/or furaffinity. I try to keep my main accounts clean :)
