Amadeus? We go waaaaaaaaay back... *hic* like three decades ago, we used to be the best and the brightest of the Clergy and would spend hours together with Picus in the library reading up on past battles and wars. Now he just spends all of his time in his sanctuary, boring. I think he should come to more of my parties and show off his legs as a cool party trick.
Little buddy! Not sure why he's always so hostile, I invite him to my parties for a good time and to have good drinks, but he refuses! How boring. I think a couple of cold ones would chill him out.
Drunken old bastard, I'm one bad meeting away from poisoning that stupid barrel of his so he dies in the middle of his dumb parties! Animal.
Harlot... she and her bewitching charms won't fool me. She may be drop dead gorgeous but I know she's no fun, trying to make Altruis avoid my nightly parties and tries to keep him sober. Where's the fun in that?
The Archpriest recognizes my talents and skill, I have him to thank for a lot of the position and power I have now. Altruis has a high opinion of him, buuut if he gave Raker and Mercury the same influence I have, the old ram must be easy to impress. Disappointing.
Ms. Fortune is one of my best weapons in the field of public relations. Her beauty and manipulative charm will convince many dimwitted fools to join the Church and fight for our cause... and her relentless brutality towards Cursebearers will make them think twice about crossing the Church and ruining my vision for a perfect world.
My sports pal, I try to get him out of his books and away from that boring ol' Dahlia and come play hockey or golf with me and Amadeus. I like to wrestle with Altruis too to practice his physical skills, I don't think he's as big as a fan of these impromptu wrestling sessions however
Altruis... he's strong enough I suppose, a wise strategist and a great warrior in battle despite not wielding a sword. His soft nature and unwillingness to kill those horrible Cursebearers vexes me however. Still doesn't excuse the fact he's a Cursebearer, too. Gyahahaha!
My most trusted apprentice, Minerva... She's a smart girl, and learns quickly. If I were to die, she will take my place in my absence of heirs. Before that happens though, I will do all I can to teach her what I know of the world - both natural and supernatural. Only she can continue my research.
I love my boss! He's the greatest, smartest, most powerful and brightest mind in the entire world! So much more intelligent then that fish-for-brains Dr. Zero and way more handsome too. I even let him experiment on me too, I trust him THAT much!
Doctor Chaerix! They must be a recent addition to the town, we always needed a doctor. I sure hope they can get over their fears - they deserve to show their face! I just know everyone will love them for who they are. I don't mind doing a chore or two for them, especially since they're offer rewards.
She's... wildly optimistic about how the townsfolk will see me if I were to reveal myself to them, but I can't do it. I'm thankful for her help, she gets my groceries for me sometimes when I can't bear to leave my home. The hormone medicine I offer her are the least I can do for all she's done for me.
Embryshire's local doctor. They're very helpful in our efforts. I understand a need for concealing your identity...
Zodiac! Oh, he's. Quite the dashing fellow, is he not? A shame he hadn't come to me before he got all scarred, I wish I could've treated him before he was hurt, or when it was fresh. I have a recipe for a sort of sunscreen I'd have let him use.
Valentino...
There's a lot of words that can describe him, and the less used is the better. He better stay away from my apprentices, I don't have time for his games anymore.
My brother, my friend… who now goes by Zodiac? He can’t run from his destiny and the Coalescence forever. What delicious company he keeps around too…
I saved him and now he's kind of... Decided he's going to die for me? I could really use the muscle for fighting back against the Church, so I'm all good with him sticking around!
Could do with a shower and some real clothes though...
Ah, that lil' squirt! Reminds me of my daughter. She saved my life from the tar pits so I guess that makes me forever indebted to her going by my tribe's customs, until I save her life of course. She's still a strange lookin' sabertooth though... she needs to eat more dinosaur meat!
My mentor, Zodiac! Real mysterious-type guy, I wanna know more about 'em. Not fair he's so locked away.
River is my most promising apprentice.
*Sigh*, I'll look after her like she were my own child. I can feel Keldocia's future looming over her shoulders.
Oh, the barmaid at Lotus Bay? Of course I come to her for my public work projects, the old prudes within the Church would faint if I so much as showed ankle. *Sigh*
She seems honoured to paint my portraits and such anyhow, she's a fine enough commoner. Feel bad calling her that, though. Anyways.
Ah! Dahlia! She's- uh, the one that most supports my artistic endeavors! She's a regular, and, well, I'm not one to deny her!!! Plus she's, uh, pretty, and. Goodness.
Freak of nature, four eyes, good for nothing smarty-pants sack of-
Young Exavier is truly the worst the High Clergy has to offer... Obsessed with power, glory... Most of the Church is oblivious to his schemes, but... I've seen him speak to shifting walls, he's hiding his true ambitions.
Our Archpriest! Old and weak and unable to hold me down. The less he knows the better. He's too busy thinking about Amadeus and his silly little garden to give a shit about what's going on right under his nose. I think a crown of his horns would look good on me, no?
The Archpriest hardly tolerates his insolence, but keeps Exavier in his position as no one in the clergy is as powerful as Exavier when it comes to Faith Magic. The Archpriest's fears of a betrayal from Amadeus cloud him from realizing Exavier's treachery.
My best friend in the whole wide world! We go way back, me and him. We're as thick as thieves. I just worry a lot about him because that curse he now has... where did he get it from?
What can I say about Alistair that hasn't already been said? He's the greatest swordsman I've ever seen, and if I had the time I'd love to spar with him and learn how to properly use the damned thing... but more importantly, he's my oldest friend, if anything were to happen I know I could come to him.
The Archpriest's lead scientist of sorts, though even he knows not what happens behind the gates of Amadeus' nature preserve.
Amadeus' master, the Archpriest distrusts him greatly and fears he may one day take control of the Church from the Archpriest's inner circle and usurp his position. The Archpriest's paranoia causes him to send Lucius or Celestine to spy on Amadeus whenever he's outside of his mysterious sanctuary.
My assistant, secretary, the only person I feel truly understands me within the organization and out. She is kind, smart, and helpful - nobody soothes my troubled mind as well as she does.
Ah, my boss is truly the only sane member of the High Clergy. Between the freaks he's forced to commune with and his duties, I can hardly blame him for throwing feasts and parties so often - It's good for publicity too. He's a very great man, that Altruis, I won't allow anyone to speak poorly of him~
The Archpriest's High Priest and the neutral voice of reason within The Church. He's grown weary of his role but still obeys the orders given to him.
The Archpriest trusts Altruis to be his strongest soldier and his weapon against other rebellious Cursebearers that he orders Altruis to deal with, efficiently.
