No one knows how it all began or where exactly have they seen it. Rumors, tales, and beliefs mostly influenced by people inclined to "spiritual" worshiping or old wives' tales. Generation upon generation, some said that they've seen it in their dreams-- yet I doubt such words. They said that they were like humans, each of them had one thing in common, they all possess a lantern. A unique trait that seemed odd to some is the smoke emitting from inside those objects. Some said that they are colorful, basked in the shades of different colors but some said they looked grim and black.
As to the significance of the object, nothing can be established from it. Besides, everything written here is still theoretical, if ever this would be proven to be true-- it would certainly strike the interest of others. Until then, I'll look into it and hopefully find more about it. However, I doubt anyone would believe in something they haven't seen...

A recent comment on my blog last month has caught my attention, they said that a certain tribe in the rural areas of the country-- there is a priestess that knows the origins of these unknown creatures. I visited them the following month(the month today) and will be staying here for as long as I get all the necessary information I need.
The said priestess is the acting tribe leader and I was stunned upon finding out that she knows a lot of the creature described. They were called "Heavae"-- I'm quite curious as to who named them and to think that these heavae were an actual thing. The keepers of lost memories...
It is said that they reside in a person's subconscious and are born from it. If this were true then what exactly are they? A huge clump of neurons that for some reason-- has a specific function? I truly am dumbfounded at this point.
"We are aware of it but at the same time, not" -- she quoted. They presented me a book of scriptures which contains drawings from a time past ours. Judging from the paper used, they are more than two to three thousand years old. This will indeed help me in writing up this research. Even if it meant staying in the mountains for years, so be it.

This research is taking a huge turning point. I've gathered quite a lot of data during my stay-- although I am still sorting everything out, I've gotten a clear idea as to their origins but I need scientific proof. I would have to conduct a series of tests to prove my hypothesis. Another thing to note is the significance of this creature itself. There are victims to Heavae in this tribe... most of them seems to have suffered from a sudden depressed state. The priestess says that the cause of this is the Heavae.
Before a person truly dies, it appears before them. As to what happens during that, no answer can be found-- both from the priestess and the scriptures. However, there's a clear indication that this Heavae can be a virus or a parasite even. I still do not know....maybe I should head back to the city and visit near dying patients.

I decided to sum up all of my findings into one journal since I'll be heading back tomorrow and after an amount of time here in the mountains, I'm getting homesick.
- They reside in a person's subconsciousness.
- Each one of them possess a lantern for some reason.
- They appear to their host as they are about to die(a death reaper of some sort?)
- They can damage a person's mental health.
- Neurons holding neurons(?)
Hopefully, this is enough information. I'll just have to dig up information on my own...but to think that they existed for so long and the only way to find out about them is when you are about to die. There must be another way.
I'll definitely make this work out.

The train ride today is making me quite anxious. Not only is it raining and storming outside but the lights are flickering and even the few people beside me are non-stop talking about how nervous they are. I have to be honest though, I do feel the same way as them. However, I'll just continue to write it out as it calms my nerves. The information about Haevea is neatly filed and arranged so I could type everything out as soon as I get rest back home. Hopefully, when the time comes for my death, I'll be able to se-

- Heavae is born from the lost memories of a person. The denser the cloud, the more important the memory is (Since you know the term when you can't remember something, your mind is said to be "cloudy") > The intensity of the memory is pre-determined by the color of it and can be classified to what type of memory it is
- Of course, they don't just stand around there and do nothing. Heavae species are not born out of the blue. They start off small inside the subconscious, a small cloud, that will only solidify(resembles a human) when the memory it holds grow. > They are invisible to the naked eye > How are these memories relevant? Well, when a person dies or is about to die-- it is said they go over their past memories
