A sort of big sister figure for me. She had the most faith in me, and I feel bad for disappointing her. I hope I can apologize to her one day, but I've no clue where she is now...
A fine young lady with a curious library. I saw a lot of shifting shadows, but it had a very warm and gentle atmosphere, and she was happy to supply me with food and water while I stayed there. I'd say she was lonely, but every time I wasn't with her directly, I could hear her chatting with someone. She was much more enthusiastic with him... I hope she'll be willing to show everyone else that side eventually.
A kind detective/journalist who visited my library once to get more information on it. Her article was fair and quite nice... She was also very fun to talk to. I'd love for her to visit again, but apparently she lives near the Clocktower and not anywhere near where Yog and I live... a shame.
Nice adoptive older sister, I guess? She's trying to help people, so I try to help get her info. She gives me food and a place to stay, so I try to return the favor.
Orphan who I've tried to help on occasion... she's an avid informant on local crime groups and does her best to help out and earn her keep. I really don't mind just giving her food and shelter, but she insists she works for it.
I don't recall meeting them. Weird!
A human detective who unfortunately saw a little too much. I erased her memories of me and our encounters with a few mirror creatures and have done my best to sway her away from cases that could involve them.
Oh, this is the energy I was sensing from the girl. I've seen his shadow a few times when I've been in the weird library they run. Makes sense! Sorry to bother your girlfriend, dude.
A monster of unknown origin. He peruses the flower books in the back and teases Deirdre playfully. He doesn't seem to want to do any harm, but I don't like him. Maybe it's because I'm protective of Deirdre, but he rubs me the wrong way. You don't just grab a girl's hand without asking, stupid.
Scared gal who reminds me of Chizuke! I can tell she's got the same general... energy, I think, is the word, that I do. I'd love to get to know her better, but from what I've been able to gather, she's already got somebody looking after her.
Normally, when someone is possessed by a horror, I can tell, but... I think he IS the horror. And that scares me. He follows all the rules in the library and is really polite, and he likes looking at all the plant care books... I hope he won't do anything too dangerous.
Uncle Granite is the best! He shows me how to fight, he's given me lots of presents, and he doesn't mind that I'm actually pretty scary. He brings Dad and I tea, which I super appreciate.
My little buddy! I remember taking him to see his Pop with Chizuke. I visit him sometimes on that weird hill and give him fighting lessons. He's generally pretty well mannered, if not a little odd. Can't really see him ending the world.
A vampire who isn't like the others. I find him curious, given he refuses to bite anyone besides animals, and has immense control over his abilities. Someday, maybe, I might see him.
The Queen of Dragons.... I've only heard legends of her. I hope she doesn't dislike me too much for being afraid of her kind. They're just so... big and... scary! Dragons are SCARY.
Informant who tends to give strangely reliable information. Helped me with a few cases, but mostly just stays away. He also really has a hard time talking to me, besides business! Might need a cup of tea or two.
Lovely Detective who assisted in arresting the Mafia group Ori was adopted into before I got him. I owe her quite a bit, but primarily I've repaid her by keeping the more... unnatural issues from springing up around her.
The only vampire I've met that isn't a crazy blood-sucking psycho! Too bad he's super passive and won't battle with me.
Dragon of the sun that I am terrified of. He'll burn me to a crisp and fight my soul away... I'd rather have Granite deal with him.
Strange fellow who really likes my cooking and visits the library occasionally. He doesn't really age properly, I've noticed, but he hasn't tried to hurt me or Yog, so... Nothing to worry about, I suppose..?
Kind, innocent child with a horrible curse. She's too quiet, too fidgety... She reminds me of myself, actually. My... natural problem with speaking to females causes me to be more standoffish with her, but I can tell she needs help. Why haven't you found it yet, little one? Truly an aura of evil can't be all it takes for humanity to abandon someone..?
A vampire I can get behind. He doesn't cause trouble and even prevents a lot of things so I don't have to deal with it. All the same, he DOES tend to think he can go wherever he wants... I let him, sort of, given I owe him for making sure Ori was returned home safely, but if I see him do anything sketchy, I'll take him out.
Space traveler, keeper of the gates between the two worlds. She/they/it worry me. They need help, and they refuse to ask for it; I can see their loneliness and they've lost almost all of their humanity. When will they realize they've been given the gift of life and live instead of pretending to be dead?
My adoptive son, of sorts. It's my fault he's cursed with lycanthropy... I also promised his parents I'd take care of him. He's helped with a few things, but I mostly keep him where he'll be safest as opposed to taking him on the real dangerous excursions. He's surprisingly reliable, despite his... drinking problems.
Some weird guy my parents decided to have look after me. I'm a grown adult, and it's difficult to have him boss me around, given he looks like a teenager! I'd fight for him, though. I'm not really sure of his past or his family, but I know he's gentle and good-meaning, so... off we go, into the sunset or whatever.
I'm not sure who this guy is, but he looks too much like a girl. He should look into a wardrobe change, haha!
Baset's champion, and... very full of himself. He is particular to Elias, so I try not to talk poorly of death around him. He seems to respect me... I met him in a forest after he'd fallen. I feel badly for him, but he seems to continually escape death, so who am I to get in the way..?
Vampire that doesn't eat people? He's almost died a few times, but I've let him pass, mostly because he's helped my Father before. He also gathers souls for Rutile and I, so I don't mind him. He also can't seem to find a home, so I feel sympathy for him.
A child of death... One I'd trust, honestly. He's very kind and has been patient with me despite my several escapes of his grasp. I've taken a few jobs for him, finding those who had cheated death and sent them his way... I hope we are on good terms.
Nice Grandpa dude who looks my age. Totally a vampire, which is cool!
A boy I met in the human world and brought to the Mirror one to find his father. He scares me not because of his strength, but because of his potential.
Keeps challenging me to a battle, and then runs. Not... really sure what she's about.
A great performer. I wish I, too, knew how to perform on a stage with my partner... Perhaps not using that thing Mask made me would be good...
My rival... A trainer with lots of... energy? He kinda scares me.
Sweet gal who's really talented with her empoleon!
A disappointing queen. If only she'd listened to me sooner, her royal adviser of all things, this wouldn't have happened. What caused you to become so bitter? Was what I taught you not enough? Apparently not.
I loved him, once, but he was a fool to think I'd put my feelings above my power. He was always just a puppet to me, and to see him in this state now is delicious. Truly, Jester has given me something to laugh at. Still, he resents me not for my actions against him, but against others. You are truly unreadable, Court Mage.
A sweet girl. I worry greatly for her, as she reminds me of Quinn as a child... Perhaps she can find happiness with her beloved friend. Only time will tell.
Quinn's friend. He's very polite and likes to ask about what books get donated, and whether or not Yog and I are alright. I'm not sure if he likes us, or if he's just trying to check in secretly, but he is one of the few people to actually take care of their library card, so...
Sweet kiddo trying his best! It's too bad he's a monster. I wish him the best with his cute little mage.
Quinn's friend. He's much more agreeable and I honestly don't mind him that much.
Eldritch boy. Him and his strange girlfriend are a handful. I'm never sure what to do with them. I wish them well, but at the same time, I cannot idly stand by and watch them destroy the world... I hope I don't ever have to step in.
She threatened to separate me and Dee... She's quite scary. All the same, she seems nice, I.. I'm really not sure... At the least, she should return Deirdre's books soon.
