Welp, naturally nothing went off without a hitch.

Several of the prize designs are getting delayed and I'll have to go to the hospital on Tuesday next week - which is a planned stay and I anticipated it, but I thought it'd happen around Thursday or Friday. Before I go in there, I want to spend an evening with my boyfriend because that's not gonna be an option for... wow, probably a whole month.

I have everything but some texts prepared, and if it helps, here's a little rundown about what's to come tomorrow:

1. MYO Event: I've had an idea for a really cute event in the vein of MYO-contests but with a little twist that should be a pleasant surprise~! There will be three winners who get an MYO Slot each!

2. Special Holiday Adoptables: I have created two special adoptables for the season!

(Yes, three characters, but the latter two are a set haha) The first one will be an event prize, still considering if I should make it a raffle or can think of something nicer. ^u^ The second one will go up for auction.

3. More Adopts to come in the upcoming weeks: A few lovely guest artists are currently also working on designs, soooo stay tuned for more cuties. At least 8 prize adopts are in the works as of now!

Some asked for a dA Group for the Calyptra species. Ask and you shall receive! Here you go: https://calyptraspecies.deviantart.com/ It's still a construction site but by now I've implemented and styled enough to be more or less sure that you won't be flooded with notifs if you join, haha~.

I am also working on a Toyhou.se World and an Amino App for the species, to give people the possibility to use whatever platform they feel more comfortable with.

The point system (renamed Lightbulbs because MOFFS, thank you, QuantumMythics C:) is also coming along, as are the prizes for the launch events. A big thank you at this point to AiC and Parziivale , who will donate some of these prize designs!

Sadly not much new concept art because everything necessary has already been drawn. But if you have a peek at the dA Group you will get to know one of the precious mascots, Theo~. If haughty little chibi-moffs are your thing, give it a look-see! ^u^

The last stretch til Sunday will probably contain mostly text stuff, so sadly there might not be much in the way of interesting updates til then. But my silence only means that work is happening behind the scenes, I promise! ^^

I just realised that I can announce the updates on my Bulletin without being a bother to people in the forum! Yay~! I updated the thread: https://toyhou.se/~forums/5868.species-discussion/50494.calyptra-interest-check-and-feedback- There's new art showing how the basic anatomy works. It's not a super firm ruleset - if you want to widen some parts or stylise something more, that's fine! I just know that artists tend to like clear references to go by.
