I'm an estonian-based college student and freelancer who professes an interest to concept art, character design and animation, as well as landscape- and portrait painting.
My other areas of interest include paleontology, skeptical cryptozoology, literature, finno-ugric folklore and gaming of both computer and tabletop variety.
Fun fact: Although I can draw alright I think my favorite thing is still seeing other people depict my characters..If you draw them well I'll probably save it to my hard drive and love it forever.
★ Why and what
I came here for one simple reason - Charahub's forums were off all the time and I felt like talking to people about my OC's.
In a sense I still like Charahub more - the pre-made template and question sheets agreed with me and let me work out a lot of character trivia I wouln't have thought of otherwise. Nonetheless I'm finding myself growing fond of Toyhou.se as well, for it's more professional layout and active community. However the whole "adoptables" and character-trading scene will remain odd for me forever.
I started roleplaying back in 2005 and have been on both sides of the literate frpg-IM script-style fence. Most of my character sheets are for long-spanning script-style roleplays which take place either on Skype or - if tabletop rpg elements are called for - in roll20. Thus a lot of my OC's have pretty standard backgrounds followed with massive superpowers and tragic events in their "ongoing" storylines. Sometimes it makes me self-concious because I fear people would take them to be Mary-Sues. Nonetheless I love my characters a lot and could talk of them forever.
