Dregan's Links
The 'blushing beast' as Suave has thusly nicknamed her. She's been in the club a few times, but certainly hasn't ever spent long there. More often than not it's been to see or speak to Lydia... though the polar bear swears he's seen her in there at other points. Usually not for long admittedly - the poor girl seems to embarass rather easily.
It's funny then to compare her to the 'Barbarian King' he's seen a few times in the ring. It takes a lot of Suave's energy to not want to step in to protect Lydia from the canine's vicious hands. He just has to remind himself that despite the vicious showmanship... she's actually quite the meek-mannered being.
Oh, right, Lydia's boss? Well, other boss - Lydia has had a lot of jobs in hindsight. Still, everything she's seen of the guy has given the impression that he's a decent enough fellow. He even turned up to a few of the wrestling shows to show some support - as far as she can tell, he seems rather protective of their mutual friend.
Still, Kath can't help but feel... at least a LITTLE uncomfortable around the guy. More than likely it's just the sort of business he runs - which honestly, shouldn't bother her that much. Still, the back of her mind does sometimes beg the question of the sort of influence he might be.
Oooh WOW Kieran's sister is a big lass. Like, in the past Alex referred to Kier as 'big dog' as a sorta li'l nickname. Kath though? Kath IS a big dog. Alex... kinda admires that in a way - you've gotta respect anyone who can put in that much effort. It's kinda attractive in a way - not that Alex would feel comfortable trying anything with any relation of Kieran's.
Besides which, she doesn't really know Kath... all that well? They've met in passing, usually when the canine's popped by to see her brother, and they've gotten on well on those occasions. Still, never really spoken all that much one-on-one.
Oh, the demon hunter? Her brother's work partner - of a sorts anyway - yeah, they've always gotten on well! Albeit Kath can't say they really... KNOW the kitsune all that well. Still, they're definitely friendly - and Alex really helps to keet Kieran in line. Kath often worries he might push himself a little far and get himself hurt... as such, it's nice to have someone of Alex' caliber around to protect him.
Kath would also have to admit to being kind of... intrigued by the fox. They have an aura of mystique about them - plus a level of showmanship - that can't help but grab at the canine's curiosity.
Oh, uh, this guy, the drunk right? All Vas can really remember about this guy is that well... he was VERY angry. Babbled some nonsense about 'heroes' and 'dragons' and whatever - honestly he came across like some kind of particularly unsuccesful supervillain. Then again, a lot of drunks kinda do.
Still, he does have a more recent memory of him... Though it's kinda... hazy? They were sober Vas seems to recall this time, and came across a lot more... sharp than they had before. Though all of that... all of that's kind of a blur now.
Vas is... many things Seth does not like. A 'hero' archetype, a big lughead who goes around saving the day in a rather loud manner, bringing a manner of 'justice' which seems to boil down to a base level of 'punching people in the face he doesn't like'.
Still, Vas is certainly... interesting. He's an unusual being, within a species with something of an innate link to the concept of powers. He's definitely worth study. Plus, it seems someone on Seth's radar has taken a certain interest in the nocturn...
This guy... gal... person... They're insatiable! Not that that's a problem, but dear lord. It's like looking in a mirror of sorts. Plus well... let's be honest, the good Doctor is both a freak and a li'l bit crazy - each of which have their own reputations when it comes to their shared pass-time.
Either way, it's hard not to respect them in a lot of ways. Like, those riches are all self-made as far as Raph's aware, which is always worth acknowledgement. Plus, they don't carry themselves like a rich person, they're much more... adventurous. And Raph LIKES adventurous.
Ah yes, the host of many-a-party! Raphael and Seth have spent probably the most amount of time together when held against how little they know of each other. Simply put, they're both rich and both horny as hell - needless to say, they've probably spent more time in the sack with each other than they have actually talking.
Still, the salamander IS of deeper interest to Seth. After all, he has a veeery interesting power. That, and the huge mystery labyrinth hiding beneath Raph's house. That CERTAINLY has Seth's attention.
Oh, er, yes, Seth! Seth's great - no like, honestly. Like, okay he has his, er... habits... Like rapidly swapping between overworking to horrific stress levels, and underworking to a point he's not turning up to meetings he himself has called. Plus all the, uh, casual drinking, smoking, and sexual remarks - and assumingly sex, not that Pelt's had any part in that! But like - he's still amazing though!
He's extremely confident, leagues more intelligent than anyone else Pelt knows, and despite what some people might think, he's a deep-down good person. He picked Pelt up from a low point, and has been helping to build his confidence! Overall he's both an inspiration and just like... a good friend, y'know?
Pelt! Seth likes Pelt quite a lot actually! Of course, he seems to like anyone he can get to stutter and blush that much. There's just so much... fun to be had in corrupting the pure - plus teasing him over his crush on Never!
Of course, Seth does place a lot of trust in Pelt. He's intelligent, and pretty damn powerful when he wants to be. He just needs to, y'know, build that confidence up a little.
Either way, regardless, he's a fun guy to have around. Certainly more willing than Diavolo to sit down and play a few video games at the very least!
...
Never... Never intrigues Seth. There's a lot of people he struggles to read - though he usually feels he can manage to drag a vague understanding out of them. Even if that understanding is 'Every word out of my mouth is offensive to this person'. With Never though... he has nothing on her.
And yet despite that, he's placed a surprising amount of trust in the wolf. She's proved herself to be more than willing to assist Dragon Corp. towards it's goals, and tends not to question any commands given - even the occasional absurd one delivered just to see if she'd do it. She just seemed to've appeared out of nowhere some day to help Seth... And that's both incredibly helpful - and incredibly scary.
Yo, Seth! Seth's... kinda a weirdo honestly? Like, he's really cool and rad and stuff. Like, in terms of pure scientific skill and ability, he's a complete boss. Plus like, the dude works out, can do some of that cool kicky shit, and definitely pulls. Overall, he's kinda fuckin' awesome!
He's just... just kinda off. Like, mad respect to the dude, but yeah. Maybe Eer should like, take him to hit the town or something some time, teach him to act around other people.
This man is vital! Young and impressionable, styling himself as one of the 'downtrodden youth', he's the exact sort of person who can easily be swayed to the goals of Dragon Corp. Not only that, he's more than willing to get his hands a little dirty - which makes him pretty perfect for S.P.I.N.E.
On top of everything else though, he's smart, much smarter than most would ever anticipate. His intelligence is an incredible asset. That combined with a level of rough charisma that makes him infectiously likable... Eer is perfect.
Diavolo is loyal to Seth to a fault. Well, more than that... Seth NEEDS Diavolo. And Diavolo knows that - she knows without her that Seth would completely fall apart. As such, she remains by his side - because she fears that despite all the money, the success, the people he surrounds himself with... Without her he'd be truly alone.
And it's insane to think what they're doing, what they're trying to achieve. But she has to admit, under Seth it all seems... possible. He's brilliant, he truly is, and though she has her hesitance about the matter, his own confidence allows her to put on a brave face to hide that.
She just wishes sometimes he could put that brilliant mind to more active use. At the very least, she'd like to not have to drag him out of the bed and into so many meetings.
Diavolo is the most important person in the world. Diavolo and Seth are like siblings to each other, having grown up together in that nightmare, only these two truly know what it's like to've crawled from the depths of hell like they did. They were pillars of support for each other. Where all else may fail, where life may be unstable, where the world may sometimes cave and crumble around Seth's head... Diavolo has always been that one consistent factor, the rock in the hard place to see him through.
And he needs to fix the world for them - for her. Because she's placed so much trust in her, and he can't afford to let her down now. They're doing wondrous things together. Because for all their differences he knows, in the end, that their end vision is the same.
Diavolo was an... interesting woman. And he's particularly curious about her, just like her boss, so to say. Of course, when it comes to her, Boa's hesitant to ask. But that may because the woman may or may not scare him a little. And he has a feeling that there's very little that can scare her. That leg of hers is... something special of note, and he'd love to talk about it, and her own knowledge on robotics, sometime. After all, someone with such a high ranking within a leading corperation must have some fantastic information to share! It's er... just a matter of approaching her first.
Aaah yes, the Beast of Anko - they've only met very briefly and of course, there was other company to account for though. A curious fellow - in both senses of the word. Whilst rather unusual himself, he seems to also be driven by his own need to learn - asking the question many others would perhaps not dare to.
His attitude and approach to knowledge would certainly be beneficial to Dragon Corp, if he were to join them he could definitely be put to use. Not that he wasn't on the company's radar before...
D-Diavolo? Diavolo is... kinda scary. She's very authoritive, very... cold and distant. She has a hard edge to her... though at the same time that all seems to be on the surface?
Like, deep down, she seems... nice. Almost motherly in a way, with the way she cares for everyone, looks after them. Of course, Pelt wouldn't want to say that to her face - she'd probably blow it off or ignore him. Or pin him with that penetrating stare that seemed to look down to the very soul.
Still... that coldness, that scariness... it's a shield right? And it's one that Pelt things he may just be able to peek past...
Poor poor Pelt. Diavolo feels... guilty in a way that he got wrapped up in the upper folds of Dragon Corp. He doesn't exactly seem, uh, cut out for his position in the company. Not that he's not skiilled, or that he's unintelligent or anything. It's more a case of... oh god Pelt is a nervous wreck.
She does appreciate him - she appreciates him a lot really. Of all the people she regularly interacts with, he's probably the most straight-forward pleasant of them all. She just wishes she didn't feel the need to protect him from the very things she may need to ask of him.
...A kindred spirit.
Never... Never reminds Diavolo a lot of herself. A quiet, often stern attitude, with an underlying level of care for her friends and allies. They both seem content to brew silently on the sidelines - only stepping in where it feels their hands are neccesary to steady matters.
Still, deep down Never is a mystery even to Diavolo. Whilst many in S.P.I.N.E no longer go by their real names, noone at all seems to know what Never's name was in the first place. She seems to simply be a mystery, a figure who just... appeared one day. And it leaves Diavolo to wonder how much they can truly trust her.
Yooo, Diavolo is one hot mama! Okay, she ain't a mama - but Eer would totally be up for fixing that if you catch my meaning~! ...Just don't let Diavolo hear that he said that.
Honestly, despite finding Diavolo kinda hot, Eer DOES deeply respect the Lady of Dragon Corp. She's an inspiration technologically speaking and has incredibly leadership skills. Add the fact, holy shit, she's like, stone cold. Even Eer would have to admit - he'd be crying like a BITCH if he had to go through the whole leg ordeal she did. She's a bad-ass, through and through.
Oooh dear. Eer is... well what can one say about Eer? Eer is... an ordeal. Loud, brash, prideful and obnoxious. He's an absoloute nightmare, with no filter between his brain and his mouth, and an inability to register reality outside of his percieved view of being the world's greatest at... most things.
The thing is, a lot of his ego isn't exactly... unfounded. He's an absoloute genius for his age, capable of picking up new skills at a disconcerting rate, especially in the fields of robotics and the wider bracket of 'technology'. Plus, for however uncultured he may immediately strike, he has depths in the field of artistry many wouldn't expect.
Overally, he's a good, intelligent kid, with his heart in the right place. Unfortunately, he's also Eer.
Ahahah... this, er, rat. She er, certainly doesn't let anything slip by her, does she? Grey is incredibly intimidated by her - she doesn't seem to show anything, and if she does she quickly hides. They're hard to read, but thankfully, so is he. And okay, so his attempted 'good deed for the day' was telling them that someone was after them, and where to find them, at the same time he's starting to've regret doing that, because if they pull two-and-two together, from either side, they're gonna figure out where old dead Mr White is hiding. He may have fucked up here. And god, Grey's hoping it doesn't bite him in the ass.
A highly suspicious individual for a variety of reasons. First of all, of course, the blatant lying about his identity, and second of all the information he knows. Something is up there...
Still, the supposed 'Grey' did give out some very important information, so it seems that he's perhaps in a sense 'on the right side' now. Still, that leaves all the more curiosity as to his past...
...Who?
Oh wait. Right. They had like, boobs. And made ads. And talked to ceilings. I mean, like one word, but still. Like he doesn't remember much, but from what he can recall, they made for an okay conversation? Weren't an annoyance but not like, really boring either. Ok person, 2/10.
This guuuy! He was, uh, interesting. They met briefly in a cafe and left... well, quite an impression.
Honestly, Caek isn't quite sure what to think of the guy. Like... he didn't seem aggressive or... ACTIVELY rude or unpleasant but... very 'to-the-point'. Plus, she couldn't help but feel nearly every sentence from the guy was like a challenge of some sort... Somewhat provoking...
Strong dog from the beach! ...That probably hates her now. Or perhaps is dead. That beaver was quite... a character. And she left Caek there for them, not even asking Caek's name, in case she never returned from the beach alive. At least inside. Jee she wonders how that conversation went after she left.
...But yeah, if she were to meet Caek again she'd probably like, try to get to know them better. They seemed like a nice strong dog!
This person is obviously satan.
Okay, no, that's unfair, in the brief meeting that they had, Elec seemed perfectly pleasant. Indeed, they seemed on the same page for most of the conversation.
Aaand then Elec ran off and left Caek alone with one 'xBlackHeartx'. Truly, Elec must be the greatest deep-down evil.
(But nah, really she seemed pretty chill though.)
Aha! A fan! A fan who knows the ins and outs of her fantastic books! Penelope... doesn't really know her name, honestly. Other than the fact that the mutt reminds her of her OC Desmonia, who's honestly way more attractive, and that's always a great starting point when conversationing with her! Because she loves her books, so why wouldn't she want to talk about her OC? Maybe... maybe she's so inspired that she based herself off her! THAT'S what it is! Man, she really needs to talk to this fan more. She bets they have a ton of theories about her latest work! Oh boy!
Caek has never been the biggest reader. At the same time, even she can tell this person is the biggest criminal against literary law that she's ever met. Like, she's sure she managed to deflect the worst of the barrage of 'character lore' from her, but oh god, she really can not stand to have one of those conversations with her again.
She just hopes if they ever encounter again that there's another ocean to wander into. Pisceous or not.
As someone who isn't afraid to flatter and flirt, seems... fairly aware of his own good looks and charms, yet has fairly pleasant attitude and a rough kindness to them, it is safe to say that Raph.. unnerves Elizabeth. Not in the sense that she thinks he's creepy or anything like that, but more in the sense that she could... very easily lose herself to a man like that? And whilst she's reasonably certain he's not that kind of figure, it has made her a little concerned about cashing in her prize. I mean, whilst she'd *love* a shopping trip with someone who... might actually be interested, she's also a tad afraid of what *she* might say by accident.
Ah yes, Elizabeth, the winner of his little Halloween contest! Seemed a pleasant enough girl - easily flustered, with a lot of blushing too. Perfect! A bit of a tease and a flirt in that direction certainly shall not go amiss!
Just a shame that he hasn't actually seen her since she came to learn what her prize was. He owes her a shopping trip, and fully intends to pay! A day out with the pleasant young figure would certainly be an enjoyable experience!
...Mmmaybe he accidentally scared her off last time. Whoops.
In Esme's eyes, the only bad thing about Raph is how little time she's spent with him - and perhaps the fact she hasn't seen him naked yet. He has a rough-yet-refined attitude, is extremely pleasing on the eye, and as a mortal who shares her desire for thrill-seeking, she honestly see's him as one of the few beings she could *properly* befriend!.. if she was interested in such things, at least.
She's mildly surprised at his concern for her past murders, but he's the kind of guy worth lying to about such things. I mean, he doesn't need to know 'hundreds of years ago' was a bit of a stretch, so long as it keeps that pretty smile on his gorgeous face
Esme. Raphael LIKES Esme. Not in any romantic sense of course, but that attitude and demeanour, that wild primalism with a joy for thrills all held inside a form that's more than pleasing to the eye? Yeah, no, Raph would certainly be lying if he claimed he DIDN'T want to get in the hyena's pants. Or like, scrap with her, or other things. She seems like a fun time!
Admittedly the whole, uh, 'murder' thing was somewhat disconcerting. But that's like, hundreds of years in the past now right? Survival of the fittest and all that. And my, she is fit.
Truth be told, Eli... really doesn't remember his encounter with Caek much. In his defence, he was more than slightly drunk and in the grips of fear of death... which, again in his defence, anyone probably would be if you'd almost been murdered three nights prior.
Regardless, she seemed... nice? He remembers something about her being married, but not... overly immune to flattery? Honestly he doesn't remember much. All he knows is he enjoyed his brief encounter with her, although would *love* a chance to make a proper first impression.
Caek isn't fully sure what to think of Eli. This isn't due to any particular mystique she finds about him, or any contradiction of attitudes - rather, when she met him, he was slightly drunk, looking lost at the edge of a pool. Not exactly the best circumstances to build a substantial image of a person off of.
Still, he seemed pleasant enough! Pleasant in the 'mischievous' way, though she never quite got around to seeing him pull enough tricksterish antics to really make a full judgement on that.
Ok listen, Eli doesn't even remember meeting Raph. He knows he attended his party, and was... more than slightly drunk at the time, but he can't for the life of him recall actually meeting the elusive host. Still, he enjoyed the party and his servants seemed a decent sort - pleasant, not overly against mischief or flirting, and relaxed to boot - so chances are, he's the kind of person he'd get on with.
Raph swears he must've been a demon goat in some previous life, because he seems to know a striking number of them, and seems to have a striking number of similarities with each. Eli definitely fits comparitively to Raphael's sense of mischief and flirtatious energy... albeit, Raph does perhaps wonder where each of their individual limits lie.
What a swell guy! Raph here is delightful, always the fun of the party, and isn't afraid to be himself while others would hold expectations over him! In that regard, he's incredibly respectable, and honestly makes Gueton quite jealous that he can do as he pleases without the consistent fear of people judging you! He looks up to Raph in that aspect, but in others... less so. Mainly how, like Seth, he's quite unhinged. Harmlessly so, but Raph is sometimes a bit too much for him. For while Guet would rather settle down, Raph actively likes going out and risking his life. And Gueton cannot understand that at all.
Oh Guet, Guet's pretty great! Like... yeah he's got his fair share of similarities with the more boring of the 'rich' crowd, all class and conversation - but usually it tends to be conversations WORTH having. For a start, he seems to understand where Raph is coming from - plus he's a man who actually WORKS for the luxuries, rather than just festering in whatever wealth he already had.
Plus, y'know, helps that he's kinda cute. He seems the perfect sort to mess with and get all sorts of flustered without really upsetting him TOO much.
Oooh, this guy! Now this is the sorta kindred spirit who knows how to live the life. It's not just about being big rich and sexy - you also gotta keep yourself entertained! In many respects, the two are probably quite similar.
At the same time, Raph would at least hope he's not QUITE that obnoxious. Superiority complex much? 'We're not so different you and I' doesn't usually get the response of 'Yah no but I'm better tho'.
Well... Raphael is... certainly a happy customer? Admittedly a rather, uh, hands-on one at times, he's certainly not shy. Then again, he always at the very least tips well - just as soon as the money's been fished out of whatever tights he's tucked his cash down. It's kind of an uncomfortable deal, but Suave gets the distinct impression Raph is doing it rather intentionally.
Suave just worries that perhaps the salamander may be something of a bad influence on his other staff... He's definitely one to keep an eye on.
Whoo, shake that ass big guy! Raph is something of a semi-regular to the House of Jack - but still, he doesn't really know Suave as well as some of the other staff. He knows he's in charge of course, and they've occasionally shared words with each other, but never really anything of significant worth.
Still, Raph certainly doesn't mind watching the big bear work! And he certainly likes to make sure the bear knows he's watching - after all, always fun to see a guy like that blush~
Th-this PEDO doesn't s-scare her! Sure she... turned up out of nowhere with a huge sword, and SURE she could move all super fast, AND SURE SHE WAS MADE OF THIS WEIRD DISGUSTING STUFF WHICH NUMBED HER TONGUE FOR DAYS B-BUT...! She was just... caught off guard! A-and next time she sees this wet dog she'll KILL HER and then TAKE THAT SWORD and CUT HER UP WITH HER OWN SWORD. Bitch.
...This child requires discipline.
This one? This one is trouble. A problem that needs to be solved, like, ASAP. You see, it's not that Vas is particularly afraid of the Goddess. Admittedly she did prove tricksy in a combat situation, and he was put in... various states of pain and peril from her - still, he's pretty he could take her if need be. Still, the worry is more in the potential peril she could place OTHERS in - and not knowing just how much it would truly take to stop her entirely.
Vas does not like the Goddess. Vas does not like the Goddess AT ALL.
