It's no secret that Andromeda is not fond of Dekadde. He is a loud mouth braggard who openly talks of mutiny and clearly wishes to put himself in charge, but in turn seemingly has no real plans beyond swashbuckling adventures and swindling. Perhaps in time he could be a decent replacement for Chorus, but in the here and now he serves as nothing more than a distraction and a bad influence on the younger members of the crew.
In time she suspects she'll have to do something to nip the growing restlessness in the bud, but for now? His ceaseless supply of hot air at least serves to keep the ship moving in the right direction.
A sinner, just like Venin, though one that revels in the thrills of ruining lives instead of ending them. He's seen that attitude many times from many people - cocky, arrogant, egotistic, sly. This little firefly thinks the world of himself but...
...Those wings, however... Consequences of his actions, perhaps? A flaw. A cute little blemish that Venin would love to examine further. He's had little chance to experiment on insects, what a curiosity that one happened upon their little humble ship.
Mr DaKadde can talk as much as he wants and can claim to play leader - he won't stop him, but Venin knows that without him, his fragile body will end up broken and battered on the ocean floor. Time will simply make Mr DaKadde's debt to Venin higher, and unfortunately for the gambler, the inkdrian isn't interested in money.
One of the two pleasant individuals Kal met when they tried to paint the storm! And... an unusual one at that. They were pleasant, helpful - and striking. The way their fur bristled in response to the storm. Almost like... a visual pathetic fallacy - but which recast the usual gloomy temperament of a storm into a more... calm, meditative mood.
...He also seems familiar but... Kal can't quite place his finger on it. He SWEARS he's seen them somewhere before. With their striking appearance... it seemed they'd be hard to forget!
Oh, yes! They were in the park when Kal wanted to paint the storm! And they, uh, very kindly... MOVED the storm for them??? Which is both very kind but also WHAT.
She was nice! Kal liked her! ...Albeit a large part of him can't help but be jealous of where she landed on the 'superpower' lottery in comparison to... well.
Anyway! She also seemed kinda familiar? Fffrom the... news... maybe?
...OH WAIT WAS SHE THE WEATHER GIRL???
...That would make a lot of sense in hindsight.
Ahaha, YES! A FLAWLESS recruitment drive if Thresh might say so themselves! And they DO say so themselves! And since THEY say it, that's EVERYONE THAT MATTERS!
This one will make a fantastic thrall! What they may lack in presentation, they shall certainly make up for in utility! A perfect servant, READY AND WILLING to be OBEDIENT!
...Okay, admittedly Thresh hasn't seen them since the meal. But Thresh is SURE they'll turn up eventually!
Oh hey, the one guy at the bus stop who wasn't a fuckin' weirdo! Not only that, he fixed her lighter - that makes him alright in JC's book!
She didn't really catch his name. Or much about him really, other than that he like... seemed to've adopted a kid or somethin'? Which, y'know, she respects, bringin' up a kid who's not yours ain't easy. So like, mad props bear dude - bear dad? Bear dad dude.
Admittedly, Oscar doesn't remember much about the shark. She seemed.. alright?? Way too fucking desperate for a smoke, but he used to be the same, so. No judgement there. Maybe a little judgement. Whatever. Point is, she seemed alright! the kind of person who'd be cool to bump into again, but he wasn't going to go out of his way to look for, you know?
That fish liked cigarettes more than it didn't like rain, and kept referring to him as a kid. It was weird. Who doesn't like rain, anyway???
Okay, this guy's also a complete weirdo, but also the kinda weirdo JC can get behind! ...Specifically the kinda weirdo who hangs out near bus stops near their house and is willing to give out cigarettes for free.
...In hindsight, maybe she shouldn't've accepted free cigs from a weirdo stranger, but ah well. Worked out, didn't it?
