Cicadapaw is friends with Sheepheart
Cicadapaw likes to visit the medicine den in her free time, and often helps Sheepheart and Rabbitclaw sort/collect herbs.
__
Cicadapaw has always looked up to Sheepheart, and sees him as a sort of her secondary mentor. When Cicadapaw was growing up, Sheepheart always made time to visit with the kits in the nursery and tried to brighten up their days despite the hardships of the epidemic. She thinks Sheepheart is a endlessly kind and dedicated cat, and it's a shame that others in the clan don't see that. Cicadapaw often goes to Sheepheart for guidence if she is having an emotional issue or needs to think something through, because while Sheepheart may have a jolly yet anxious disposition, many fail notice how insightful and deep he is.
Cicadapaw has always been facinated with herbs and medicine cat duties as well, and would have wanted to be Sheepheart's apprentice had Rabbitpaw not claimed the post before her. Even so, she still had Sheepheart teach her some herb stuff, and she may as well be the tertiary medicine cat at this point
Lambpaw has a... a little bit of a crush on Beetlepaw. He knows Beetlepaw is TOTALLY out of his league, and that tons of cats have crushes on Beetlepaw so Beetlepaw could literally choose whoever he wants but... Lambpaw can't help it.
It doesn't help that he's friends with Beetlepaw's sister Cicadapaw, so he knows all these embarassing and cute facts about Beetlepaw. Beetlepaw is just so cool and calm and handsome, and the little white bit on his tail is so cute- and Lambpaw can't help but like him!!
Lambpaw hopes that Beetlepaw will notice him someday, or that maybe he'll work up the nerve to talk to him. Even if he gets turned down, which would probably happen, he'd still like to be friends with Beetlepaw.
Beetlepaw thinks Lambpaw is a nice cat, but that's as far as his opinion goes.... he's pretty sure.
He certaintly sees a lot of Lambpaw because he's his sister's friend, and yeah, Lambpaw's laugh is kinda cute, but everyone agrees that Lambpaw is cute so that's not just on Beetlepaw.
Beetlepaw always feels a bit bad when he has to train with Lambpaw. He doesn't like how the other apprentices snicker when Lambpaw falls or stumbles. But he doesn't go easy on him, not like how the other apprentices do, because he doesn't think Lambpaw deserves that. Lambpaw always gets up no matter what, and has a determined glint in his eye. Beetlepaw has to respect that.
Dustcall is Lambpaw's mother
__
Lambpaw loves his mother of course, but thinks she can be a big over-controlling and smothering at times. She tends to baby Lambpaw because he's smaller/scrawnier than most apprentices and hasn't had the best health in the past. She's also had a habit of sheltering him from the more rowdy kits/apprentices his age.
Although he doesn't want to admit it, to himself or to his mother, she's a big reason why his self esteem is so bad.
Lambpaw is Dustcall's kit
__
Dustcall would go to the ends of the earth for Lambpaw, but of course she would, he's her kit after all! Dustcall is often worried for Lambpaw and tries to make sure he has everything he needs because he's had bad health and the past, and he's such a skinny cat.
But she has been noticing he's been growing more distant from her, and since she can't figure out why it's been distressing her. Dustcall just wants the best for Lambpaw and wants him to be happy.
Beetlepaw is Applenose's apprentice.
___
Applenose gets the feeling Beetlepaw doesn't like him, but he can't imagine why. He thinks apprentices should respect their mentors, and Beetlepaw definitely doesn't. He thinks Beetlepaw should be more sociable and put himself out there more as well. Nonetheless, Applenose is commited to his duty as a mentor and will teach Beetlepaw to the best of his ability.
Applenose is Beetlepaw's Mentor.
___
Beetlepaw... doesn't like Applenose... He think's Applenose is kind of fake and also just a dick. At least he knows how to fight... but Beetlepaw wishes he had someone else less //embarassing// as his mentor. (his sister got Rustfur, why couldn't he get someone just as cool?)
Lambpaw is Crowwing's apprentice. They are good friends. Crowwing sees Lambpaw as a little brother.
__
Crowwing for a while, was unsure as to why Waspstar appointed Lambpaw to him, Crowwing didn't really think they were a good fit. Crowwing is definitely a fighter and a hunter (those are his strong suites at least), and Lambpaw just... isn't. In addition it didn't seem smart for a black cat to train a white cat how to hunt, white cats stand out more while black cats usually have no issues. He didn't dislike Lambpaw, he was a sweet guy, but he just didn't see the reasoning behind it.
After a couple days of having Lambpaw as an apprentice, Crowwing confronted Waspstar about her choice. Crowwing wanted the best for Lambpaw, but he didn't think the best was him.
Waspstar admitted that she appointed Lambpaw to him because she beleived his attitude could help Lambpaw. She also knew Crowwing wouldn't judge Lambpaw for his small size or softer nature, and instead would help Lambpaw use these traits to his advantage. Waspstar thought that Lambpaw could use a confident (but not egotistical) and upbeat cat to look up too, as Lambpaw's self esteem needed some work as well.
Crowwing took this into note, and continued to train Lambpaw, encouraging him and working with him so he could be the best warrior he could. Crowwing talked to white/mostly white cats to learn how they hunted, and asked for tips from other cats who'd mentored apprentices before.
Over all the time spent with him, Crowwing has grown to adore Lambpaw and has no doubt he'll be a fantastic warrior. (though he tries not to dote on him, because he knows this is something Lambpaw doesn't like) Crowwing turns down his playful teasing with Lambpaw, but they both still get into a fair bit of shenanigans. He looks forward to seeing how Lambpaw will develop and mature in the future, and is glad to be a part of Lambpaw's life.
Crowwing is Lambpaw's mentor. They are good friends. Lambpaw sees Crowwing as an older brother
__
Lambpaw was nervous to get a mentor, and didn't know how to feel about Crowwing at first. Crowwing was known to be a rule-breaker, a bit mischievious, but a very friendly cat and an adept warrior. He was known for his fighting prowess and lax attitude. In other words, he was a popular cat in the clan. Lambpaw as someone who'd always stuck out like a sore thumb and had n e v e r been popular, was afraid that Crowwing wouldn't be a good fit for him.
Their first week or two together was awkward... at best. Lambpaw could tell that Crowwing didn't really know what to do with him either, and this made his spirits gradually fall. He thought Crowwing would try to harden him into a warrior, or just be embarrassed of his scrawny excuse apprentice and give up.
However Lambpaw was surprised to notice that Crowwing wasn't giving up. When something didn't work with Lambpaw, he tried something else. When Crowwing didn't know how to teach Lambpaw to hunt, he asked around. When Lambpaw beat himself up over not getting something the first time, Crowwing didn't berate him but encouraged him to try again. When Lambpaw got emotional, Crowwing didn't make fun of him, but helped talk him through it. And best of all, Crowwing didn't baby him like all the other warriors did.
Lambpaw grew to respect Crowwing immensely, and couldn't imagine anyone else being his mentor. Lambpaw hasn't ever had anyone who has cared for him as genuinely and openly as Crowwing does, and is beyond grateful for it. Lambpaw looks up to Crowwing and sees him as the brother he never had.
Cornfoot is Crowwing's sister.
They're both pretty close and like sparing and patrolling together.
__
Crowwing thinks Cornfoot can be a little bit of a worrywart and a nag, but he understands that she's just doting on him. Crowwing thinks it's cute how easily she gets flustered and likes to tease her about her crushes on other cats, and other stuff (but nothing that would actually hurt her feelings!). Crowwing thinks Cornfoot is a fantastic warrior, and gets angry that people don't treat her seriously somtimes because she's softhearted and anxious often.
Crowwing is Cornfoot's brother.
They're both fairly close and like sparing and patrolling together.
__
Cornfoot thinks Crowwing can be a little too mischievious sometimes, and wishes that he would follow the rules more. Cornfoot got dragged into many of his (...and Rabbitpaw's) schemes when they were apprentices, so she knows firsthand. Cornfoot loves her brother... but she wishes he would be more careful, he's gotten scratched up due to some poor decision making more than once. Cornfoot know's Crowwing is an adept warrior and can take care of himself, but she doesn't like seeing her brother get hurt.
Smokechaser was in a way Rabbitclaw's "secondary mentor". Smokechaser taught Rabbitpaw how to fight and hunt, on request of Rabbitpaw, and also kept it a secret from the rest of the clan, even from Sheepheart and his own apprentice Crowpaw.
Rabbitpaw voiced his opinion that he thought medicine cats not knowing how to defend themselves or how to hunt was stupid, and Smokechaser begrudgingly agreed with him.
Rabbitpaw asked Smokechaser because he seemed like the most trustworthy cat at the time (he was friends with both Crowwpaw and Sheepheart, so he had to be a good cat) and Rabbitpaw heard Smokechaser was the "deputy of Ironclan", which was apparently a high position. Rabbitpaw doubted Smokechaser would be able to be "the deputy" unless he was at least an adequate fighter.
And so they went behind their clan's back and met in the abandoned barns to train.

Rabbitpaw voiced his opinion that he thought medicine cats not knowing how to defend themselves or how to hunt was stupid, and Smokechaser kind of agreed with him. Especially after how many cats were lost in the epidemic, any cat that new how to hunt is useful, and a cat not knowing how to defend themself is just idiotic.
Smokechaser, already intrigued about Rabbitpaw as a individual, (and wanting to make sure he assimilated into the clan well since Sheepheart appeared to really care about him) decided to train him just for the hell of it.
And so they went behind their clan's back and met in the abandoned barns to train.
Smokechaser was Crowwing's mentor.
To say the least, Crowpaw and Smokechaser were a c h a o t i c duo. Yes, they are both fantastic fighters, and yes they work well together and get things done when they need to be done, but... they both have mischeivious and fun-loving dispositions and can get a bit carried away sometimes. Some of Crowpaw's lax and slightly irisponsible attitude rubbed onto Smokechaser as well, and Smokechaser didn't have the heart to be strict with Crowpaw. They were well known for their pranks back in the day, and still pull a few now and then.
Even after Crowpaw became a warrior, they remained close.
____
Crowwing admires Smokechaser greatly and often looks towards him for guidence. Smokechaser is Crowwing's really cool uncle, but he almost thinks of him as a father (since Crowwing's father died in the epidemic). Crowwing is always seeking to impress Smokechaser when he can. Crowwing couldn't think of any cat who is more fit to be deputy, and he has no doubt Smokechaser will make a fantastic leader.

Smokechaser is immensly proud of Crowwing, and that's not just because Crowwing was his first apprentice. Smokechaser admires Crowwing's upbeat additude, and his abillity to cooperate with his clanmates and diffuse tense situations. Crowwing has matured much from his days of being a energetic puffball apprentice obsessed with crows, and Smokechaser is proud to have been a part of his developement.
Sheepheart and Smokechaser are close friends Sheepheart see's Smokechaser as a really cool older brother.
__
Smokechaser has been the only consistently good thing in Sheepheart's life. Sheepheart grew up with Smokechaser, they were friends as kits, as apprentices, and are still currently. Even when the rest of the apprentices and warriors made fun of Sheepheart, Smokechaser never did so, and tried to stop them to the best of his ability.
Smokechaser is optimistic when it hard for Sheepheart to be, always cheers Sheepheart up when he's down, and listens to Sheepheart with genuine interest whenever he blabs about herbs. Sheepheart thinks Smokechaser is a really cool guy and a fantastic warrior, and is grateful to have him in his life (although skeptical as to why Smokechaser continues to be friends with him).
During the epidemic, they bothed leaned on eachother as well, Smokechaser having lost his brother Whitefoot, and Sheepheart his aunt Fogbreath and friend Ratpaw.
After Smokechaser became deputy, and took on new responsibillities, they grew a bit more distant, but came back together when Rabbitpaw joined the clan.
Sheepheart and Smokechaser are close friends. Smokechaser see's Sheepheart as a younger brother.
__
Smokechaser has always liked Sheepheart and doesn't understand why other cats don't. Rephrase: he does, but he thinks they're stupid for not liking Sheepheart anyways. Sure, Sheepheart is awkward, a little obsessed with herbs, clumsy, and softhearted, but why should those traits be bad things? Smokechaser thinks Sheepheart's softspoken and honest attitude is charming, his dedication to his job respectable, and his intensive knowledge of herbs impressive. Sheepheart is an empathetic genuine cat and everyone else is missing out. He's also really fun to tease and gets flustered easily, which Smokechaser enjoys. Smokechaser is very protective of Sheepheart and will call out anyone who makes fun of him.
During the epidemic, they bothed leaned on eachother as well, Smokechaser having lost his brother Whitefoot, and Sheepheart his aunt Fogbreath and friend Ratpaw. Although no one could ever replace Whitefoot, during this time Smokechaser realized how much he liked Sheepheart, and that he'd actually been thinking of Sheepheart as another brother this whole time.
After Smokechaser became deputy, and took on new responsibillities, they grew a bit more distant, but came back together when Rabbitpaw joined the clan.
Sheepheart is Fogbreath's nephew, but Sheepheart always thought of Fogbreath as his mother. (Considering that Sheepheart's mom died, and his father didn't make any effort to raise him)
Sheepheart was shattered when Fogbreath died.

Sheepheart and Owlshade were apprentices at around the same time, and Owlshade was always in the group that had a time making fun of Sheepheart. Owlshade was among one of the first to start the trend in fact.
__
Sheepheart has noticed Owlshade's change in behavior, but still doesn't like being around her for obvious reasons. While Sheepheart doesn't hate her, Owlshade still makes him uncomfortable, and he tries avoid interacting with her if he can. You can't erase the past, and it's hard for Sheepheart to stop being scared of her after being scared of her for much of his young life.

__
She's now realized how immature and unwarranted her past actions were, but has never apologized to Sheepheart. She does however make an effort to call out other cats who continue to put him down.
Rabbitclaw doesn't like Owlshade. She's annoying and has a grudge against him for whatever asinine reason. Rabbitclaw wishes that he and Owlshade could just mutually agree to dislike eachother in private, but Owlshade always has to make a big deal out of it.
Owlshade was one of the cats vehemently against letting Rabbitpaw join the clan. She still doesn't like Rabbitclaw. He's smart-mouthed, sarcastic, and doesn't follow the warriors' traditions.
Rabbitclaw and Sheepheart are a combination between brothers and best friends. They care deeply for eachother, and would do anything for eachother in a heartbeat.
__
After Rabbitpaw had been badly wounded from a fox, Sheepheart (a cat Rabbitpaw had never met) healed him singlehandedly even after his clan was against it. Even in the begining when Rabbitpaw was difficult, scared and untrusting and perhaps a bit volatile- Sheepheart was patient with him.
Eventually Rabbitpaw realized Sheepheart was a cat who could be trusted, and got to know him better. Rabbitpaw soon found out that Sheepheart was a kind cat with an interesting sense a humor and the endearing abillity to talk about herbs for hours. Over time, whether that time was just them hanging out in the medicine den, or Sheepheart teaching Rabbitpaw about herbs as his mentor, the two cats only grew closer.
Sheepheart and Rabbitclaw both confide in eachother regularly and enjoy spending time together.

__
At a time where Sheepheart didn't have many cats he was close to, Rabbitpaw came into his life. Taking care of Rabbitpaw's wounds, he soon grew close to the strange cat. Sheepheart had never been close to his biological brother, and Smokechaser had grown distant from him since becoming deputy, so Rabbitpaw filled a hole in Sheepheat's life that had long been empty.
Unlike most cats, Rabbitpaw doesn't mind Sheepheart's endless chattering, and actually thinks being a medicine cat (and learning about different herbs and their appliances) is cool. Smokechaser has always listened to Sheepheart blab about herbs, but Sheepheart knew that he didn't share the same fervor for herbs that Sheepheart does. Having someone who is just as passionate about being a medicine cat, and about herbs, is something Sheepheart has never had before.
Sheepheart and Rabbitclaw both confide in eachother regularly and enjoy spending time together.
Smokechaser watches Silentstar warily. He fears that Silentstar may have ambitions that could involve Hillclan territory. In general, Smokechaser is on edge about Marshclan's increasing aggression towards the other clans. Although all the clans are a bit ansty, Marshclan has a history of staying calm and easygoing, so it's uncharacteristic for them.
However, Smokechaser still has a large amount of respect for Silentstar and all that Silentstar has gone through, so he's hoping that Marshclan and Ironclan won't have to be enemies.
Silentstar thinks Smokechaser is the most trustworthy among the leaders and deputies. He believes that Smokechaser will stick to his word, and that he's just generally a well-intentioned and kind cat.
Silentstar would like to get to know Smokechaser better, especially since Smokechaser is friends with Sheepheart and Silenstar has heard a lot about him from Sheepheart, but tensions are high right now and Silentstar must put his clan first.
Burningflight acts chummy with Silentstar despite Silentstar's obvious dislike of her. No one can tell if Burningflight realizes this, or if she's actually just that clueless.
Silentstar doesn't like Burningflight. He thinks Burningflight in general is annoying, but he also dislikes the way Burningflight runs her clan as deputy.
They are boyfriends, and they care very deeply for eachother.
Crowwing (or at the time Crowpaw) was one of the first cats besides Sheepheart that actively tried to get to know Rabbitpaw and include him in the clan.

Wavestorm's mentor.
Even after Wavestorm became a warrior they remained pretty close, Wavestorm sees Silentstar as an older brother and looks up to him greatly.
----
Wavepaw and Silentvoice were the perfect apprentice and mentor pair. They bounced off eachother well, fought together brilliantly, and trusted eachother whole-heartedly. This trust was one that built over time though, Silentvoice and Wavepaw are both hesitant cats after all.
However, after Wavepaw was in an accident where she one of her front legs, their bond strengthened.
Wavepaw's world was shaken after she lost her leg. Although she didn't brag about it, she was the most adept apprentice before she lost it. She was proud of her skills and all she had achieved in the time she had been an apprentice, and having that ripped away from her without any promise of recovery threw her into a frustrated depression.
Silentvoice helped Wavepaw get past this hard time in her life and taught her how to fight and get around again with three legs. During this time, Wavepaw also learned more about Silentvoice's past and the struggles he's faced because he's mostly mute.
Silentstar's first apprentice.
Even after Wavestrom became a warrior they remained pretty close, Silentstar sees Wavestrom as a younger sister.
----
After Willowfoot died, Wavepaw took her place in being Silentstar's translator whenever he needed to make an announcement to the clan.
Silentstar confides in Wavestorm regularly, for both emotional support and for her opinion when it comes to clan matters. Although Silentstar does like his deputy, many consider Wavestorm to be the "secondary deputy".
Silentstar cares very deeply for Wavestorm and doesn't try to hide it.
They're secretly mates.
They'd always been close friends and visited eachother regularly despite being in different clans, but they grew closer after the epidemic, having lost many cats they cared about. (especially Willowfoot, who had been Silentvoice's mate, along with Sheepheart's friend)
