Me having way too much fun writing Hyun being unhinged and strange around (comparatively) normal creatures (Boris and Wil). This lit is p much Boris and Wil meeting Hyun right as she joins Pyridekk. Wil wants to befriend Hyun despite the odd and bad gossip surrounding her, and drags Boris along for the ride. This is all within Wil/Boris povs, so obvs they don't know Hyun can see ghosts/other stuff.

Hyun going about her super cool fantastic life at Pyridekk (taking care to ignore all those pesky ghosts and echoes) when uh oh. Someone she likes has a ghost attached to them.....That's probably no good. Anyways me introducing Hyun's ghost sight/sense mostly just to feel out how I want to write it for myself. may add some other chaps to this later or maybe not who knows.

Various half-finished drabbles or snippets of dialogue that I like enough to save, but unsure whether I'll finish OR I intended for them be snippits and not turn into anything else. First Chapter is a table of contents of sorts. Place where I hold all my snippit guys <3

Exploring August and Ameokk's relationship to art, how they view it in relation to themselves, to eachother, and to others. The hobby has been August's solace from loneliness from a young age, and him introducing it to Ameokk builds both a connection between them and allows Ameokk to build a lifeline for themself. Chapters will jump around in time and focus.

Amek fights Brutus in the Diamond. Diamond fights are a source of entertainment for creatures and a way to show off the magical prowess of their clan. Amek and Brutus are friends at this point (not public knowledge. diamond fighters are pseudo-celebrities) and much of their fighting is more performance. Anyways Amek has identity issues part one-thousand + them ogling Brutus whilst brutus is literally beating them bloody.

August is having some anxiety and missing Ameokk. He kinda accidentally contacts Ameokk over their podbond (mind connection), which they both have only used for emergencies/high-stress situations at this point. Basically, me exploring how they actually communicate through podbond, which is mostly thru trading emotions + small visuals + tiny phrases. Anyways take a rare pure fluff literature.

Hyun has just joined Pyridekk, and she's totally absolutely fitting right in!!! (<- untrue). Hyun and her assigned Beastguard group have been tasked to take care of a colony of shovelmouth that's gotten too close to Pyridekk settlement. Brutus, the Kirjnhas, is overseeing this mission to make sure they do it right, and it's clear xe has little faith that they will. The creatures are enlisting some living stones, the shovelmouths' favorite food, to lure them out.

Having recently been adopted by September, Amek hasn't had much time to explore Daharus yet, or be aware of its common dangers. Like Ryajha, god of the flood, who owns the east sea bordering Valencia. Ameokk has a fateful encounter with the god, who seems to know them more than they know it.

Brutus and Hyun are chilling, and Brutus thinks: "wow why am I so comfortable right now that's rare lol". and has a realization that it's because of Hyun's magic and goes, ":O wow!!". anyways me describing Brutus's keyaa-sense more and just some fluff tbh. with a SPRINKLING of angst. Amek is also there very briefly at the end.

Amek begins sending Brutus mothi messages to piss her off, after learning braille to do so. Brutus is pissed and confused for a long while, but eventually, note after note after note, begins to feel differently. Nonlinear + no real plot, these will jump around in time. Tho as I do them, i'll organize them chronologically-ish i think.

Amek comes to August on the cusp of a mental breakdown, or rather, a shut-down- the likes of which August hasn't witnessed yet. August attempts to comfort Amek, even without knowing what has upset them so deeply. August is 14 in this and Amek 16. self-indulgent hurt/comfort leaning more into the hurt y'all know my brand.

Exploratory Brutus + Hyun interaction. Me finally explaining how Brutus 'sees' (kinda) with keyaa-sense, and all the overstimulation issues that entail. During the first month or so of Hyun being Brutus's Kesska, so they're both kinda fumbling and miscommunicating about it lmfao.

16 y/o Kirjnhas wants to fight competitively in the orderless (non-magic) league for undisclosed reasons. Jason, as an older beastguard, has reservations about the young, recently appointed Kir. OR: Jason says "hey what the fuck?" and is witness to Amek's concerningly self-destructive behavior for nearly 4k words.

Exploration of Amek's identity issues (along with other issues LOL) through the body-language of his own species (storm spirits) and others. Mostly rn, storm spirits are voice/sound mimics, and Ame starts mimicking different creatures' voices involuntarily (after years of repressing this behavior) and doesn't know why lmao. <- this eventually gets revealed.

Ameokk having a normal one (<- mentally unwell). He's healing here, but struggling a bit with it, as you do. Brutus is here to be his friend :-)

Hyun finally meets Brutus's family after being her kesska for nearly 2yrs. However, they both have a secret they're keeping from the other... Brutus wants to give Hyun her clan name, thereby officially making them siblings/family, but is worried if Hyun wants the same. Meanwhile, the travel there is straining Hyun's keyaa wings, of which, he has yet to tell Brutus about, and feels guilty for. Lots of fluff + hurt/comfort and a bit dialogue heavy.

August returns to a place he spent a lot of time in as a child (COUGH, in his emotional-neglect-laden childhood).

Daejn and Hyun sappy QPP hours. abt Daejn enjoying being alive again and experiencing the wonders of existing after being trapped for centuries by renfinus and deprived of stimulation and interaction. And also being thankful for Hyun who's helped them through this recovery and been by their side the whole way ; w ;. not me emotional over my own ocs, fuggedaboutit.

ah-hah back at it again with the august and amek angst *bits lip sexily*. anyways this towards end of story where they're both mentally wrung out to all hell and miscommunicating like no tomorrow (ame 26 Aug 24). Amek asks August why his mandibles are out so often (spoiler: stress and trauma response, not pog). warning for sadge-ish ending.

Amek realizes they've accidentally formed a podbond (read: basically a soulbond) with August and has a bit of a crisis over it. August tries to comfort them but doesn't rlly know what's going on lmao. Amek is around 16ish and August 14ish.

Amek and August r having a snuggle except Amek is too busy contemplating the fragility and impermanence of existence to enjoy it.

Hyun be touch-starved and traumatized and Brutus realizes she accidently acquired a younger sibling and reacts with a healthy amount of "oh no, oh god, I'm attached". Also Brutus assumes Hyun doesn't like being touched bc he's flinchy about it, and misunderstandings proceed.

Ruh roh hurt/comfort projecting again. Brutus is having a bad chronic pain day :'( . Amek visits and makes everything a little less shit, Brutus lets hemself be vulnerable for once. Tender snuggling ensues.

Story about my warrior cat au ocs. Right now mostly centers around Rabbitpaw(Sylvester) and Sheepheart(Chester) c: ... will probably just be cute character interactions for a while lol.

short introspective-ish drabble of August thinking abt Ame when Ame gets Really Pissed (aka goes into feral storm spirit mode). Mostly me playing around with (way too much) imagery.
