Yeaaah so with the end of Art Fight 2023 and also my research project ending, I'll have more time to work on OC stuff again, in particular my website which I am really looking forward to!! I am also considering using/updating my TH again so I'm gonna do a bit of spring cleaning in the upcoming weeks. I've been feeling a lot more confident about sharing bits and pieces of my OCs again without feeling like people are breathing on my shoulder to snag my ideas/designs anymore. Just saying that I do see it, but listen: that just means our OCs are cousins now whether you like it or not. (If this makes you mad...you oughta ask yourself why.)

So, things to look forward to soon:

• more updates to my OC site (OutKrop on neocities) - ongoing
• Adding TB and Mona to my registry of characters here
• Spring cleaning this account
• Reaching out to commissioners and complete remaining commissions
  
• Might take a few art trades in the next few weeks
• Considering opening commissions again finally in the next 5 months - 1 year

I tend to go pretty hard every year but this one might be different cuz I'm currently in a volcanology program...but we will see! I uploaded the characters I want art most of this year, especially TB & Mona lol

Additionally, I haven't been using toyhouse to store my characters at all, at least not this account anymore (due to multiple reasons). I only really keep it up for users to credit my art. Just something small from me this time around, I still need to complete commissions but I want OC art. Slowly getting through them BTW! Just been tired with job stuff.

I'll draw something like in the spoiler which is pretty simple, so please keep that in mind if you really insist on drawing something big for your part.

• Deadline is 2 weeks after acceptance, but 1 week is preferred. (Flexible, it's not a hard deadline but just around those times.) 
  • If you know you cannot make this timeline at this time, please do not offer to trade. There will be other times.
  • If something unexpected comes up during this time that affects you not making the deadline, PLEASE let me know so I can either cancel the trade or give you an extension. Communication is important, and cancelling is never held against you in future trades.

Yuhh I feel like drawing some quick things in-between my commissions. Not gonna do everyone but just a few designs that stick out to me until I get tired of this.

Feel free to draw something back if I draw something for you, but you don't have to.

I haven't really been able to draw much lately (at least, anything that's not a doodle) so I've been putting my energy into just working on my weasel characters' site. It's still a heavy WIP, and a lot of placeholders are on there, but feel free to browse around and check back from time to time. If you'd like to make any suggestions about the site to me, feel free as well. Hope you enjoy.

This is part of my transition to become less reliant on Toyhouse, and only use it as a private art collection only I/some authorized friends can see (on a different account). I have much more fun making a site, and so the only things that will eventually be on my public character pages here on toyhouse are references. The characters will still be up, so don't worry. There's just no lore or anything much. This account would still be active in terms of interacting and all that though, I'm not going anywhere

Additionally, I've been playing with my old weasel characters a lot more lately. They kinda take the stress off from working on Nonco whenever idk what to do with it. They're my pride and joy and some are old enough to create accounts on social media...here is their toyhouse folder check 'em out

Wanna do a few inbetween commissions, you know the drill:

• Comment up to 5 characters for me to choose from (optional: add a prop or complex interaction/environment ie shopping, playing a game, riding a bike, in a cafe, etc.)

• Tell me if you are willing to draw multiple characters in a single drawing (how many)

• OPTIONAL: Tell me which of my characters you'd be willing to draw (I might still choose a different one, but they'll most likely be similar in design to one you chose) & if you prefer anthros or humanoids 

• Don't worry about style/"skill level", you get complete artistic freedom (DON'T ask me if I want sketch, a headshot, full body, etc I won't answer cuz I don't have an answer to that)

• Deadline is about 3 weeks (flexible)

• Please don't ask to trade if you know you're gonna be busy in these 3 weeks

Mostly looking for artists who can do character interactions (not just characters standing around doing nothing/emoting) and/or backgrounds but overall I choose designs I feel I'd enjoy drawing atm over anything else
