Before they sink into deep, restorative sleep, the ursuki host a huge festival in which they use up the remainder of their magic reserves to put on incredible shows, creating illusions unmatched by any other species in Bellacoste. On the darkest nights of the year, Firsden opens up to be found by any guest who wants to be wowed by their legendary festival, offering a rare and precious glimpse into the otherwise secretive ursuki’s lives and culture!

After recognizing that she will never truly be capable of performing magic in the traditional manner, Amaranth refuses to lie down and give up her passion. Instead, she opts to study her own brand of magic, building it from the ground up through many months of rigorous study. For too long, runic magic has been seen as superior to all other forms of magical ability... but, then again, the world has yet to see what Amaranth is truly capable of when given the chance to shine.

Things are not well in Bellacoste. A war, long forgotten, has once again bled into the collective consciousness. People are beginning to remember... and tensions are rising. All of this, spurred on by one particular lon who, having been torn away from her parents due to this bloody battle, seeks nothing but the truth. The whole truth. Is it for the better? For the worse? Well, we'll just have to find out, now won't we?

As time marches ever-forward, different adventures reveal themselves depending on the time of year. Tis the season, after all!

Bright-eyed and eager, Ishmael dreams of becoming a knight one day—though, knighthood as he seems to understand it is quite a bit different from the norm. This doesn't phase the young vespire very much, of course; if being himself means he can't be your typical knight, then he'll just have to be his own kind of knight, instead!

An unusual and recently reclaimed holiday, Selstice was generally celebrated by the capricorns of Aequor. Now that their proud city is open to newcomers, however, the festivities have begun to creep to the surface! Traditionally, Selstice marks the founding of Aequor, though it now it serves as a prideful jubilation of all things Capricorn.

In these months of plenty, whilst the pouflons gather and celebrate, the vespires recall those they have lost. Deep into the depths of the earth they descend, singing the lifesongs of the fallen, such that they will never be forgotten. A time of mourning, this event has come to be known as The Lamentation.

Born to a long line of Royal Knights, Ryzel joins the knight academy with high hopes. Though he hasn't gained any real station yet, he tries his absolute hardest at everything he does in an effort to truly live up to the family name.

As the vespires emerge from the earth, pouflons take their turn in mourning. The Fete Passing marks the death of most flowers and the beginning of winter... A necessary happening, but bittersweet nonetheless. Months of harvesting end with the Fete, marking it as a time of rest and reflection -- though every pouflon experiences the Fete differently.

Now a Tier 2 mage in pursuit of Tier 3 status, Amaranth's situation goes from bad, to worse... Luckily for her, not all is lost -- though a fateful incident during her time at Asterfall Mage College forces her to, at last, really reconsider her options.

In a long forgotten section of Dreamhaven, almost hidden away behind a thick cover of heaven's ferns, lies a run-down observatory. Centuries ago, astronomy was a reputable pastime of jollies everywhere. However, as magic dwindled away, the telescopes lost their function, and the observatory crumbled away to ruins. It had almost faded from public knowledge, up until ghost stories arose. As such, Salem and Tobio take it upon themselves to investigate... (Written in May 2021)

Salem's little beanie was oh-so-cute when she decided to take it in... but now, it's transformed into a ravenous little thing, eating her out of house and home! She and Tobio will have to find a solution, and quick -- that is, unless they want their entire pantry to be rendered completely empty, alongside any room that happens to have furniture a beanie can chew through. Frooties are skittish, gentle creatures, who just so happen to love eating the crops of unsuspecting farmers. Perhaps, Cino could find out some manner in which to lead them away and assist the local residents? (Written in May 2021)

From seedling, to sprout, to a full-grown Midveiler, every arborling starts out life the same way. This tells the tale of Cino's coming into the world, and how he managed to make his way through the challenges of early life! (Written in April 2021)

Something strange is happening across Bellacoste... The sky seems to have formed a large glitched crack, and corruption has begun to spread throughout the land. Only the bravest of Pouflons may venture deep into the depths -- seeking the answers to questions that, if left unanswered, could mean the end of life as they know it. Amaranth, despite herself, cannot stand to sit idly by as the world around her caves in; she's going to get to the bottom of this. She's going into the Rift.

Having reached Tier 1, Amaranth is now a true mage, and continues her studies with much difficulty. Through it all, she aspires to reach Tier 2 of magehood, and at last gain the respect of her peers -- which she feels she has since been denied.
