DelusionsOfGrandeur

Mallory Durand, a descendant of a line of demon tamers originating from the fourteenth century, was born with an unfortunate fate—the inability to see and sense demons. His impairment, however, proved to be a blessing in disguise for his debauched lineage, forcing his family to raise him with saintly scruples and wool over his naïve eyes. It worked for a while, bringing the Durands some relief after centuries of futility, but Mallory could only act as the progeny’s only angel for so long.

It was that very moment, exactly, when his family figured out why angels fall.

Delusions of Grandeur is one of the many plots I've been wanting to write for a while, and since I doubt I'd be writing the two whole books I've planned for this universe anytime soon, I figured there'd be no use for any warnings. It's a supernatural plot in a modern setting and is supposed to be a follow-up to a story I've written when I was 12 (hahaha) about a family that has ties with demons. It was a mess, though, and I wanted to go back to that plot since I didn't want to put three years worth of worldbuilding, research, and uncomfortable glares from my mom to waste.

However, I plan on writing some snippets and stuffing them in each character's literature section soon.
