Chains of Numen
In some form of media, there exists the concept of the Red Thread of Fate. This belief is one where an invisible red cord around the finger of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation as they are "their true love". A similar concept exists in the world of Tellus. In Tellus, there exists the Chains of Numen. These invisible chains snarled two or more Pokémon together in a bounded pair by the God of Love [Enamorus]. However, there are more to these shackles that few are aware of as Bounded Pairs are few in-between. These Bounded Pairs would be introduced to the concept of being champions to the various Gods that exist in the world. The Baille [Lewis and Ronin] and Regnum [Lucius and Raiden] are two bounded pairs with their separate backstories and adventures that they plan on embarking on. While their motivation may be different, they will soon discover the secrets of what being bounded mean.
- This fanfiction is rated M for mature and only available in Google Doc form to selected folks. It contains mature themes, violence and so forth.
- The fanfiction is a work in progress and very loosely follows a plot. The focus is exploring the dynamics of relationships.
- This world does not take place in a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon setting. There may be some elements from it, but the goal of this world is to explore a more DnD like world.
Main Cast
The following characters are the main cast for Chains of Numen. These will be the ones that the story focus on the most. I wouldn't necessary call these bunch heroes, given the amount of stuff that they will be involving themselves with. In fact, I would say that a good portion may fall under the titles of antiheroes.
Gods
The following characters are the main legendary Pokémon of the world that are either connected to the Bounded Pairs or influence the story of Chain of Numen in a major way. The Legendary Pokémon in this world are treated more akin to Gods with a large portion of them taking on a disguise form. Perhaps we will learn more about the nature of these higher up beings at some point.
The Union Chiefs
The Union is one of the largest guilds in the world. It’s composed of various agents that carry their fair share of duties and purposes. On one hand, you can have a few agents that specialize in rescues missions while on the other you can have those who specialize in transport of goods. They’re not quite the police, but they do have quite a bit of influence. These are the heads of each of them.
Victory Wyverns NPCS
This section focuses on the various side characters that are encountered during the Victory Wyverns Chronicles, which follows the adventures of Ronin, Lewis, Apollo and Alister. These characters ranged from members of the Union as well as various other Pokémon that the four end up becoming familiar with. These characters will help shape the story of the working guild members that you will see craft their own story.
Diamond Domain NPCS
This section focuses on the various side characters that are encountered during the Diamond Domain Chronicles, which follows the adventures of Lucius, Raiden, Yuuto and Tanaka. These characters ranged from members of the Diamond Domain Kingdom and other allies that the four end up becoming familiar with. These characters will help shaped the story of the wandering travelers that you will see craft their own story.
