Isoprene's Links
An internet friend he met through Bonnie. She's pretty cool, and he likes to hang out in her subconscious. It's comfy.
he almost wishes she'd just kinkshame him though, kinkpraising is like 10000% worse. he can't cope with his sheer tier of trashery being enabled
An internet friend she met through Bonnie and one of her closest friends in general. She's his #1 kinkpraiser. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it!
Alma's roommate, who she doesn't totally trust yet. Chalcedony is lazy, doesn't take anything seriously, and enables a lot of Alma's dangerous habits. Still, she's the only help she has right now... and it's not that she dislikes her, it's just...
Alma's girlfriend, and someone she's acquainted with. Chalcedony thinks she's kind of pushy, bossy, demanding, and impatient... but she's not a bad person, so she can handle it.
also she's hot af js.... sick Leg action bro
Alma's roommate, who she met online a while before meeting her IRL and becoming roommates with her. Alma thinks she's really cool and feels safe talking to her about anything... there are even subjects she feels more comfortable talking to about with Chalcedony over Angele!
But now she's going to---
Her roommate, who she met through the internet before meeting her IRL. They share a lot of interests, and Alma is one of the few people who takes her otherkin stuff seriously and talks to her about cool supernatural things. Needless to say, Chalcedony's worried about Alma's disappearance and is eager to find out what happened to her. Hopefully nothing too bad... Alma knew what she was doing with all of that demonology stuff, right?
An obnoxious thorn in his side, and that's all.
If you get scammed by a human, then that's your own fault! What kind of demon gets ripped off by a human, anyway?
His students are tasty.
Muri is a frequent unwanted guest of hers, usually found lurking in the unused hallways of her mansion. She shouldn't complain about the free security, but Umbra doesn't trust Muri to leave her allies alone.
Her mansion sure is nice! Way too much of a hassle to be a worthwhile target, though... such a shame! Her soul seems like it would make a great meal...
I-I'm n-n-n-not s-scared of h-her at a-all, w-w-what would g-give you t-that idea...???? OH GOD SHE MOVED CLOSER
Now, it's not that she wouldn't eat him, it's just that he keeps surrounding himself with people who seem more delicious. It'll be his turn eventually, though! ♥
i swear i didn't mean to have two white-skinned black-haired pointy-eared vaguely demonic characters who like to eat souls, especially dicro souls... it just happened
that probably says a lot about me
"ummm??? who's this asshole stealing my gimmick??????????"
One of Them, and someone he happens to be acquainted with thanks to his frequent trips to Limbo. Every time they meet she threatens to eat his soul, which is... well, that's pretty hot.
Not that he's ever let her, like, eat him or anything!! That would be weird!!!! Haha no way pal he always just gently pushes her away and goes about his day, no objectionable content h-BONNIE NO NOT AGAIN
Just the cutest, sweetest little thing! She just can't get enough of him! He really ought to visit her more often. But if he won't come to her, she doesn't mind coming to him, hmhm... ♥
He's not unfamiliar with her, and for the time being she's an ally. An incredibly uneasy ally, but one nonetheless. She's already helped him out, so it wouldn't be right to deny her help... but he's still a little paranoid. He doesn't really have time to get his soul devoured. At least Julias seems to have her under control...
A new, delectable friend! Muri hasn't known 2cro for long and knows little about him, but she really doesn't need to know much. As far as she's concerned, he's just another Dicro who's even more tantalizing than the original! She'd love nothing more than to just gobble him up, but Julias keeps telling her not to. What fun is that? Not even a little nibble...?
For now she doesn't mind hanging around and helping him out with... well, whatever he and Julias are up to, but that's mostly just so she has an excuse to stay close to him. ♥
"do you have ANY idea how much kinkshaming i have to do now because of you???"
He probably tastes like fruity cereal with strawberry milk.
Zhirael is very familiar with Istra, and he was vital in the effort to [DATA EXPUNGED]
During his time in Hell College Zhirael spent a lot of time studying Istra and performing experiments on them, in particular seeking a way to stabilize them and create a treatment to cure those they infected. His thesis revolved around them, so needless to say Zhirael has a thorough knowledge of Istra inside and out.
Zhirael sees Istra as his responsibility and feels guilty for leaving them for so long. He knows he wasn't obligated to stay and he had important reasons to go back home... but as much as he respects Hell College's faculty, he doesn't trust them to treat Istra properly. He has a deep understanding of how to get Istra to cooperate, what they're capable of, what their limits are... he's left all sorts of documentation behind, but from his experience he expects that information to be used to further manipulate and exploit Istra for power and financial gain.
His experiences with Istra helped set into motion his desire to liberate lower beings from higher beings and encourage respect all throughout the chain of power. He's looking forward to seeing them again, even if they won't remember him.
He hopes he'll be able to change that.
Istra holds on to memories of Zhirael a little better than their memories of others, presumably due to having spent a lot of time around him. They don't remember much about him overall, but he seems to be very familiar with them...
They feel a certain melancholy from Zhirael, but they can't understand why. It seems like Zhirael feels bad for them, but Istra can't really see what's upsetting about their situation. Is their life really that bad? What does he know that they can't remember...?
Either way, Istra trusts him and enjoys his company. They're more cooperative with him than with other Hell College faculty and alumni, helped by the fact that Zhirael understands their behavior the best.
Yenzhal has little opinion on Istra. To him, they're just lab equipment. They're not really a person, though that doesn't stop them from periodically annoying him by gnawing on his undead servants...
He probably tastes like tormented souls.
They can eat anything... even metal!!! Holy crap!!!
They're also pretty cool in general, though they sure do make a lot of jokes about eating people! I mean, they ARE just jokes, right...? Dicro always seems to think they're funny, what with all of that laughing! Kind of nervous laughing, but that's still laughter!
He probably tastes like french fries.
A... student? at Hell College. Well, they don't seem to go to class much. What's really notable about them, though, is that they seem really attracted to Dicro in a number of ways. They tend to follow him around campus, making it abundantly and vividly clear that they really, really want him inside of them. Like, literally. As in, like, they want to straight-up devour him. Preferably alive. And they're very descriptive. It's very... it's kind of... I mean, it's not like he... well, anyway,
Istra tends to be a little clingy and slightly possessive toward him, but not to the point where he feels uncomfortable or concerned. They seem sort of innocent, all things considered. I mean, it's a little weird when Dicro wakes up in the middle of the night and Istra's looming over his bed, but not super unwelcome or anything. I mean, what are they gonna do, kill him? You know whose links you're reading, right?
Istra's done a good job of grabbing his attention and, Shamefulness aside, Dicro really would like to get to know them better. He's interested in them as a person, and he hopes they feel the same way. It feels nice to just be around them...
and then bonnie bursts through the door and kinkshames him into oblivion. here lies dicro
There's something about Dicro that Istra finds hard to resist. Something about his soul is more tempting than usual, and the closer they are to him the more satisfied they feel. No matter what, they can't forget his name or his face, and the more time they spend away from him the more they long to be near him. He haunts their dreams, which they didn't even know they could have. Every time their mind wanders, it always ends up back at him. And when they see him there, in person... it feels like he was meant for them. Like he only exists to be part of them.
Why is that? Are they just... really hungry? Or is this what "love" is?
...Or both? Can it be both? Seems like both.
One of her fellow Representatives. They don't really talk that much, but that's fine by her. Loligo is kind of intimidating and doesn't seem super understanding or patient, so... maybe they wouldn't be the best of friends.
One of her fellow Representatives and one of the ones she interacts with the least. Loligo doesn't really get her deal and doesn't have a lot of interest in her. She'll work with her, but if she was alone in a room with her she wouldn't really have anything to say.
One of the Representatives, and definitely one of the hardest ones to impress. She's not mean to him or anything, but he's had a hard time really connecting to her. But as Hadris' personal assistant, it's his responsibility to make sure he's friends with everyone! He can't give up!
One of Hadris' personal assistants, though Loligo doesn't really get why. He's all weak and helpless, but I guess you don't need power to buy donuts and coffee. She doesn't have a problem with him, but she doesn't have that much interest in him, either.
One of his fellow Representatives. They end up on assignments together a lot since they work well together both in terms of their physical abilities and their personalities. Sometimes they hang out outside of work, too, though more often than not "hanging out" means "getting into fistfights for fun and glory."
One of her fellow Representatives. They synergize well together thanks to their similar personalities, but that same fact also makes them somewhat prone to fighting. It's never anything serious, though, and more often than not they make a formidable team. Loligo thinks he's a little annoying and immature, but not to the point of him being unbearable to be around outside of work.
One of his Representatives, and probably the one he had the hardest time recruiting. He doesn't hold anything against her for that, of course; if he had been in her shoes, he would've tried to kill him, too. What matters now is that she's dedicated, strong-willed, intelligent, loyal, and overall exactly the kind of person he wants to be associated with him and his empire.
Her boss. He saved her from a dark place even when she kept pushing him back, and she really respects that. He didn't make the best first impression, but he's proven himself to be a good guy that she's willing to give her life for.
One of the Representatives. They don't really hang out much, but Aedi hangs out with Venith fairly often and Venith thinks highly of Loligo, so she must be alright! Aedi's kind of intimidated by her, but they get along fine.
Some new intern. Venith likes her, but otherwise Loligo doesn't have much of an opinion on her. She's good at getting donuts on time??
The kind of student he hates to see. Selfish, slacking, more interested in trivial pursuits and mortal connections than the dark arts... why bother attending Hell College if you're only going to add to the ever-increasing worthlessness of its student body? Disgraceful.
Probably the worst professor on campus. He's zero fun, has no style, and frowns on any kind of personal expression. Needless to say, she pretty much never shows up to any of his classes. Like she needed to know necromancy, anyway! When you can get the living to obey your whims, why bother with the dead?
It's a shame Azaleus hates him so much, because they share quite a few interests. But he supposes some people just can't get over having a little land stolen. So petty! Maybe he should get a better army.
In another life, perhaps they could have been good friends. In this life, however, Barazia is nothing more than greedy scum who can't keep his hands to himself. He'll pay for what he's taken in time...
Another tainted soul, poisonous to the touch... so hard to find a good meal here...
Ochotnik isn't entirely familiar with Celesca, but she intends to change that. If she's truly the only one to ever have defeated Hellscream, then Celesca is going to be a vital source of information.
Worthless! She hired her to get rid of Hellscream, but apparently she can't even do that! What kind of assassin can't kill someone?! To stoop so low and get no results... hasn't her reputation been soiled enough?
Still, she's one of the only somewhat-bearable people around...
Hmhm, such an adorable thing. She doesn't seem to completely grasp how powerless she is... but Ochotnik is more than happy to take advantage of that. She'll kill this person and that person for her money, and when she's run out of it all she'll find someone else to mooch off of. Etoile doesn't get that she's never going to truly get her planet back, but Ochotnik certainly isn't going to be the one to tell her.
Though her fixation on Hellscream is a bit of a bother, given how difficult it is to deal with him... oh well. Plenty of other fish in the sea.
Another sucker who thought they could actually kill him! When will they learn? This one managed to escape, which is pretty impressive in its own right. They haven't really crossed paths much since then, so she's probably learned her lesson. Smart!
A challenging foe who she gravely underestimated. She won't make that mistake again, but that won't be the last time she faces him. There's quite the bounty on his head, and if she managed to flee from him then killing him can only be a little bit harder. She'll find a way, but she'll take her time.
