While his impulsiveness and rash energy leave something to be desired, Lureus at least is an example of a decent wrath demon. Powerful, boundless potential, and unhesitating to take advantage of both of those traits. With a bit of polishing he could be something special, but under Ignis' tutelage that's doubtful.
Yenzhal sure is fun to fight against! Lots of bones to chew on afterward!
No. Not friend. There's only room for one cat at Maple Manor. Get out.
Friend??? Friend!!!
Lureus seems an odd sort for Poe to be so close to, and in truth Poe would agree. But Lureus hung around him when Poe was at his worst, physically speaking, and Poe finds his presence oddly comforting. He appreciates that Lureus is so cooperative, though it's not like Poe isn't used to how Hell College's residents work by now. Still, he feels like it brings more meaning into their relationship, that Lureus cares about him enough to betray his natural instincts and upbringing to keep him happy.
At first Lureus was just interested in Poe's weird mutation issues, since they were tons of fun to watch and play with! But as they spent more time together, Lureus found himself enjoying Poe's presence even without any bloodshed about. He'll instantly obey just about any command of Poe's - his loyalty running even deeper than his loyalty to Ignis - even if he doesn't always understand why Poe's insisting it's not okay to chew on this or cleave that in half.
Most importantly of all, though, Poe is nigh-unrivaled petter with mastery of head scritches. That's important to him!
elemon spent a disproportionate amount of time lost in ignis' estate because there were two near-identical mansions and one had orange and one didn't and he looks exactly like an infernal and just. listen. he doesn't like to talk about it alright.
Monaz watched Elemon grow alongside Hadris. He was always so kind. They hope they continue to hold onto that, to become whole, to keep loving.
One of the previous Representatives, and one of his oldest friends. Elemon hopes they are well, wherever they are.
Quite the thorn in her side. Hadris was lucky to pick him up! Without him, Memen probably wouldn't be in her current situation. But the waiting will make his demise the sweeter, she figures! So she hopes he keeps working hard. The bigger they are, the harder they fall, and how she loves a show...
Hadris' worst enemy, and thus Elemon's as well. Elemon does not often make enemies of his own, but he has watched Memen fell many he called friends. The effort he puts into keeping her contained is not impersonal.
Septicemia owes Elemon a lot, as he's the one who helped her deal with her whole... soul situation. She's not intimidated by him in the slightest, but his introverted nature prompts her to mind her distance. She'd rather not upset someone so important and helpful...
A case equal parts interesting and unfortunate. He has done all he can to help her, so now he simply tries not to disturb her. Elemon is sure to watch over her, though, hoping to ensure her stability and happiness.
A surprisingly gentle sort. Venith had no interest in him at first, but the first time she witnessed some little admirer putting stickers on his cloak her heart melted. She's interested in learning more about him, but is wary of disturbing his peace. However their relationship develops, Venith is happy to know him and trusts him deeply.
Venith is a figure more tremendous than most would imagine. He's impressed with the balances she has struck in life, but can see there is more to be done. There is little he can do himself, but is confident his help isn't needed, anyway.
He's... not the worst. Annoyingly strict sometimes, but she feels like his heart is in the right place. Not her favorite Representative, but the old man's alright. He doesn't talk much, though, so she's not expecting to get much closer.
Though her brashness leaves something to be desired, Elemon sees great potential in Loligo and equally great kindness. He hopes she finds true satisfaction someday, so that her power may truly shine.
Elemon was essentially another father to her, and she views him as such. She has nothing but respect for him. His strength, kindness, and firmness has shaped her into the person she is, and she spends every day being sure not to waste all of the lessons he's taught her, directly and otherwise.
Hadris' daughter, and Elemon feels his own as well. He's helped raise Valence and is deeply proud of the person she's become, which makes it all the more sorrowful that she's resisted immortality. Everyone he's ever cared for has either been immortal or has been killed in combat. The sort of slow withering Valence is going through... Elemon is unused to it, but has tried to accept her choice.
There's more to Elemon than people tend to give him credit for, and LeFleuris recognizes that. Still, he's not the sort of person LeFleuris holds great interest in. Well, so to speak. The primary sort of interest he has in him isn't the sort that Elemon reciprocates.
LeFleuris is a complicated character, but Elemon does not distrust or dislike him. LeFleuris cooperates and his loyalty is true. That is all that matters.
Zero fun, definitely one of the worst Representatives. At least he's not AS bossy as some of the others, but the dude is a total bore. Well, he can be a sight in battle, but outside of that...
Lausac is problematic, to say the least, but Elemon holds no malice toward him. Though Lausac tends to disobey orders and doesn't play well with others, Elemon understands a decent person lies beneath Lausac's... exterior.
At first Flann was intimidated by Elemon, but it didn't take long before she realized he's one of the kindest Representatives of the bunch. She appreciates his guidance and feels safe around him, so she tries to return her gratitude by being sure to go out of her way to greet him and take interest in him. Without taking it too far, of course.
Elemon cares deeply for Flann, resonating with her a bit. Her awesome might combined with her gentle spirit cause him to be extra careful with her, and he appreciates that she seems to understand him just as well.
"is it weird that i think he's kinda hot in, like, a hot dad kind of way? like, once you get past the creepy robes and stuff?"
Though a bit high energy for him, Aedi seems to be a decent person. He has no particularly strong opinions toward her, but he certainly doesn't dislike her.
Elemon is pretty ominous and a chill always runs up Orange's spine when he's around... but Orange has come to realize appearances aren't everything, and Elemon's actually a pretty nice guy! Not the best conversationalist, sure, but no reason to flinch at every move he makes.
Hadris' personal assistant. Orange is a pleasant character, never minding Elemon's quiet nature and always following proper procedure. Elemon thinks highly of him.
Elemon is more important to Hadris than he might give off, if only because he knows how Elemon likes his space. Elemon is his longest-serving Representative. He's been at Hadris' side through his highest highs and lowest lows, never judging and growing alongside him. Though others might not be able to see it, Hadris has watched Elemon change considerably throughout the years and is immensely proud of the person he's become.
His master, though he's come to understand Hadris is more his boss. Really, more his friend. Hadris is undoubtedly the most important figure in his life. He has served Hadris loyally for countless eons, and he will continue to do so for as long as the fabric of reality allows.
Black has been a constant lifesaver for Cel, being a mainstay of the Castle Oress Alliance throughout the various Competitions. He's always been the wise words and calm voice she's needed to keep herself out of a breakdown, not to mention he's always pulled the weight of defending her and her fellow allies with his multitude of talents. Cel holds Black in high esteem and is always happy to see him around, though she knows no number of strawberry sammiches can truly express her gratitude.
There's nothing quite as refreshing to Ignis as blowing up Castle Oress and incinerating everyone in remotely close proximity to Cel. He's practically made a career out of it!
The worst!!!!!!! The actual worst, ever!!!!!!!! Ignis is the bane of Cel's existence, second to Opine... you know what? Maybe not even second to Opine! At least Opine isn't personally killing her friends for fun! All Ignis ever does is set her house on fire, kill her friends, and torment anyone she expresses interest in... and then he laughs about it! He's, like, peak evil! Cel doesn't hate easily, but she doesn't see anything redeemable about him! Good thing he's locked away in some prison somewhere and can never get out or do anything to impact the outside world ever again, right? Right...? Right?!
Soleil is super interested in Cel; she's an amazing person who's trying so hard, and Soleil would love to be able to validate her efforts in some way! It's hard to be a soft person in a vicious world, but Soleil hates seeing Cel grow weaker with each new Competition. She's always nice to her when she gets the chance, but it's not like their alliances hang out together much considering Halyn's Alliance might as well be an offshoot of Umbra's...
Soleil is probably the top on Cel's list of people she wishes were in her alliance. Soleil always lights up the room and knows how to lead and get things done on top of that... she's essentially everything Cel wishes she could be.
Fray wishes she could hang out with Cel more, because she's super cool and has awesome taste in music! But, y'know, technically enemies and all that...
Fray is one of many people Cel wishes she could be friends with instead of awkward acquaintances at best. She seems like she'd be a lot of fun to hang out with! It'd be like having a little sister!
Ara thinks Cel is a really great and nice person! She'd love to hang out with her someday, and she really wants to get her strawberry sammich recipe! Unfortunately, they're on opposite sides and Ara understands why Cel has little interest in coming over even during times of peace. Nonetheless, Ara hopes the Competition won't break Cel, and that they'll get the chance to be friends someday.
Cel will never understand how such a little angel like Ara managed to end up in Umbra's Alliance, but she supposes Ara's just another sign that Umbra's a good person after all. Her existence always makes Cel hesitate to take any action against Umbra's Alliance, though. The last thing she wants to do is send people to storm the mansion and hear Ara was a casualty from it...
Muri likes to pop up in Castle Oress now and then. The Test Reality and There are so closely connected that she might as well! It's a shame that she's not allowed to devour everyone there - quite difficult to resist since they're just walking bags of soul juice - but surely Cel could spare just a little nibble? Her soul must be ever so sweet...
(external screaming)
Ah, Cel. People are so casual these days that it's always nice to have someone who actually complains when you break in! Larya just can't help but bug her and the rest of her goody-two-shoes alliance. It's just too easy!
A constant nuisance. Larya loves bugging Castle Oress in particular, constantly stealing various trinkets and annoying everyone on her way out. Who does she think she is?! She's not even part of the Competition! Why does she even keep showing up?!
Cel is a nice girl, which is unfortunate because the Test Reality shows no mercy toward her type. She's happy to aid the Castle Oress Alliance when needed and hopes that Cel will be able to hold on to who she really is. She's seen so many good people lose themselves to violence, and Cel doesn't deserve to be one of them.
A technically neutral party who runs a Doll Shop. The Doll Shop Alliance is really more on the Castle Oress side of things, so Cel feels pretty comfortable around her and her associates. They've been dependable, but also the Doll Shop is just really cute!!! She wants dolls of everyone!!!!
Mood. Big mood. Dicro can sympathize with Cel, being stuck needing to be a leader and have opinions when he'd rather just do his own thing and not have anyone relying on him. He feels bad for her, but having the alliance firmly on her side would make things awkward for a lot of their connections. He's not too sure he could ever bear to hurt or kill her, though. It'd be like kicking a puppy...
Dicro seems like a really nice guy, but Halyn's Alliance is so weird. It'd be a lot nicer if they were more on the Castle Oress side than the Umbra side, but they seem to prefer being on the darker side of neutral. Dicro's helped them out in a pinch at least once, though, and she figures she could probably trust him between Competitions... and he's cute but,
