With the Copper Clock Mall slated for closing, Throcky, the mall's resident manifestation born from consumerism and memory, is seeking someone with powerful memories of liminal locations to be his ticket to survival. He finds that Mint, a zebra with a fondness for abandoned pedestrian and the mall itself, is his best bet. Mint's bond to Throcky begins strong and fast, though Mint can feel himself decay into unraveling as he's thrown back into memories of locations he wishes he could forget.
