Autumn and Coral were friends in secondary school, where Coral was a few years ahead of Autumn in the school system. They only knew each other through the school’s volleyball team. Autumn looks up to Coral a lot for her athleticism and dedication to the team. They fell out of touch a little thanks to Coral leaving school and then Autumn going to uni, but they keep up with one another on social media.
Autumn and Coral were friends in secondary school, where Coral was a few years ahead of Autumn in the school system. They only knew each other through the school’s volleyball team. Coral loves Autumn’s vivacity and joy for life, and her younger sister especially. She kinda wishes they had gotten closer through their time as teammates, and eventually wants to try rekindling a proper friendship with her.
Cherise- shy as ever- would love to get to know Kibble, but hasn’t a clue how to approach her. They work together great as colleagues, but she thinks Kibble is very thoughtful and good at getting her to see the bright side. She needs more friendships like that in her life.
To be completely honest, Kibble worries for Cherise a lot. They’re both veterinary technicians and both very good at their jobs, but Cherise always seems kinda down? Like down just enough to be noticeable?? She’s very enthralled with the animals she takes care of but Cherise really just doesn’t seem to bond as much as she wants to with her coworkers, and Kibble wants to know her better.
Thorn sees Kibble whenever she pops around to Meadow Market, and is a bit curious of her to be honest. She always seems to come by and purchase plenty of animal treats. They kinda wanna know what she does for living, and know why she has tons of bugs and plant life that seems to entrap her.
Kibble is a semi-regular Meadow Market visitor, as she has an interest in all things nature and animal. They often have homemade dog treats there, which are tried and tested favourites of the animals she works with. She knows Thorn just because he’s ALWAYS there at a Meadow Market open weekend, but finds them a bit odd. They have a little ghost that she has seen in fleeting. Very curious.
Arcade doesn’t know Dove very well. She lives on uni resident halls with him and the rest of his friends/roommates. He thinks shes sweet and dresses cool but thats about as far as his interest goes. He’d probably grant her a genuine wish if she asked.
Dove is super fascinated by Arcade. I mean, he’s a little alien guy that got trapped on Earth by mistake, can grant wishes for people except himself, and has just embraced his new life here, moving in with Toby and joining his university (somehow). They share similar fashion, so she would love to get to know him on that front (ignoring that Dove is just talkative and wants to be friends with lots of people anyways). They are in the same friend group, and Dove just wants to hear more about his life.
Meylin suuuper cares about Dove, she’s just so sweet and finding someone so unapologetically interested in alt fashion and his music gives him warm fuzzies. He appreciates that she’s always there for a good chat, and secretly really likes when she comes over to work on uni work and chat while he works on his music.
Dove LOVES the music that Meylin produces! But Dove didn’t know who he was before a chance meet-up at a music festival. She thinks his money skills are very…. Um…. Questionable. Dove loves getting to assist on songs which needs female vocals, and chatting about their shared fashion and interest in the colour black.
Sardine thinks Willow is a super cool teacher!! She always wants to be at the front of the class, and loves the simple geography that they are taught. She gets really sad when she is scolded for being too loud however. :(
Willow cares about all of her students, including Sardine. She appreciates Sardine’s energy and her willingness to include the shy kids in activities, making sure they get lots of social time. Sometimes Sardine’s energy is a bit too much to contain so Willow has to tell her to calm down, but same goes for lots of kids!
Plum really likes Crumbs!! They both specialise in different types of sweet goods with Plum making sweets and chocolate, and Crumbs making cakes and biscuits. Plum is quite inspired by Crumbs’s dedication for their craft, as they have a full time job at the same time.
Crumbs thinks Plum is very very cool. >:) Plum is super encouraging to Crumbs, and they LOVE going to Plum’s Sweet Shoppe for the atmosphere. They are quite curious in the method of making homemade sweets, so often spends time with her to learn her secrets!
Plum adopted Harvey when she was in her mid thirties and Harvey was around 7 years old. Plum knows of Harvey’s depressing early childhood and how he ended up in the foster care system. She cares greatly for Harvey of course, and especially focuses on bringing up Harvey’s confidence. She shares her love for sweet making with him, to help give him a social activity.
Harvey is super shy. He loves Plum so much, and connects to her greatly but struggles to push himself outside of his boundaries and social circles he is currently in. He is quite the nervous lad, deeply traumatised by the loss of his parents. Harvey spends a lot of time helping out in Plum’s Sweet Shoppe as it helps keep him busy.
Fleur doesn’t know Six, but she does recognise him by his comedic responses on her modelling posts. They think that he’s a funny, quirky little lad and sometimes gives him some replies and likes to make his day.
Six is one of Fleur’s fans. He really hates the simp/incel types so, when a new post from Fleur arrives, spends his time dunking on them. He will spam shit like ‘she won’t date you bro’, and constantly corrects people who misgender them. He regularly gets called a simp, but he’s past the point of caring at this point.
Sunniva is very attracted to Darcie, they follow her social media accounts where she does cosplays and other modelling shoots. Their friends regularly call them a ‘Respectful Simp’.
Darcie doesn’t know Sunniva, and probably never will, since they are one member in a sea of adoring fans. Recognising every single one of her fans is quite hard.
Automne and Jasper are both from emotionally difficult backgrounds. Automne lost her parents, took on guardianship of her sister and moved in with her grandparents. Jasper suffers from severe anxiety and finds a lot of everything too hard in his day to day. Jasper has a massive crush on Automne. He thinks that she is gorgeous and wonderful, and loves that shes always ready to lend an ear, and understands him better than anyone else has before. He always just wants to shower her with affection. He feels bad that she spends so much time helping him manage his anxiety, but appreciates it nonetheless. Jasper has no idea how to confess to Automne, and is absolutely terrified of what would happen if he did.
Automne and Jasper are both from emotionally difficult backgrounds. Automne lost her parents, took on guardianship of her sister and moved in with her grandparents. Jasper suffers from severe anxiety and finds a lot of everything too hard in his day to day. Automne’s naturally caring disposition drew her to him, and she loves to do what she can to help make his life easier. She struggles to understand him sometimes, and will legitimately hold her own when his anxiety makes him irritable, but Jasper will always apologise. Automne finds him really sweet and cute, and wants to bring joy to his life.
Sardine was born 14 years after Automne was, meaning they have a massive age different between them. She looks so drastically different to Automne due to the fact that they are half-siblings, where they have different fathers. When Sardine was 3 and Automne was 17, their parents were killed in a fatal car crash which left no survivors. This sudden shock affected them massively, as they now had to move in with their maternal grandparents. Automne has always been a maternal person, who jumped at the opportunity to be Sardine’s legal guardian in order to keep her life as normal as possible. Automne loves doing everything for her sister, including playing games with her, helping her put on shows and everything in between. However they do sometimes have issues due to the fact that the passing of her parents was devastating, and left a deep wound in her. She wants to grieve with Sardine, but Sardine wants to live in the present. This can sometimes cause a wedge between them.
Molly - who prefers the stage name ‘Sardine’ is Automne’s younger sister. Sardine was born 14 years after Automne was, meaning they have a massive age different between them. She looks so drastically different to Automne due to the fact that they are half-siblings, where they have different fathers. When Sardine was 3, their parents were killed in a fatal car crash which left no survivors. This sudden shock affected them massively, as they now had to move in with their maternal grandparents. Sardine does not remember her parents, but does remember the love she had for them. Due to the fact that she’s only six, she doesn’t want to live in the shadow her parents’ passing left, which directly causes some conflict with Automne, who took over the role of legal guardian when she turned 18. They love each other dearly, but Sardine does struggle to communicate with her sister due to her age, and due to the fact that Automne is healing a massive scar on her heart.
Dusty always felt weird around Annabelle. She found it strange that Annabelle wanted to play the same roles as them as children, instead of taking on a more masculine role (as this was before she transitioned), which meant she and Maiya distances themselves from Annabelle as much as possible. Eventually, when she was an adult and after Annabelle transitioned, she realised she was wrong to treat Anna differently, and planned a proper reconciliation. But that reconciliation would never happen.
Annabelle had mixed feelings towards Dusty for a long time. She was always left out in the games that Dusty and Maiya played when they were children, and constantly refused to acknowledge her existence due to one minute difference between the two. They never had a real chance to bond, because Dusty was gone before she ever got to apologise and reconcile with Annabelle. This impacted how Annabelle grieved, and she struggled to find meaning in their relationship when she never thought there was any, but decided to move through it and partake in the investigation.
Dusty once considered Maiya a wonderful and loving sister, a best friend, someone who shared her dreams. However, Maiya took her grief and frustration out on Dusty, and forever changed their dynamic and relationship.
Maiya absolutely despised Dusty, as she considered her a ‘backstabber’ who took away any care she should have received following a tragedy in her life. Everyone was more focused on Dusty’s new baby than with Maiya.
Maiya does not feel much for Annabelle. She more hated Dusty while she was alive for what she represented.
Annabelle despises Maiya, after uncovering what Maiya had been doing after she abandoned her family. She is on a desperate mission to solve the mystery around her sisters and her family.
