AA kat!! It's starreeskies/faireeren here, i'm wondering if you have more info on the wickett species? I've got one from you from years ago and wanna give them a bit of a makeover but I don't want to go against anything you've got in mind for them ;;v;;
actually, funny you should mention that, I had been in the process of reworking them for a while now! https://www.deviantart.com/monochromera/art/Wick-d-Info-Sheet-undergoing-overhaul-currently-470259781 was the initial sheet, and most details still hold true but there's been a few big edits! for one, the batty snout is a mutation now, rather than a consistent trait, they have more cowlike noses now. Secondarily, the ears have one inwards slit and a more butterfly shape. the scleras are typically white or off-white, but the pupils are darker. And they now have thick claws for stripping bark and digging, rather than their noses as it was before. I'm still working on the lore for the world that they inhabit, but it's not going to be made into anything big and ARPG-esque like a lot of species on deviantart tend to be. ultimately though, wicketts are meant to be something fun and free-form, so feel free to go against anything honestly- your designs are yours to do with as you please, once they're bought off me, I welcome full freedoms in editing them as desired to make them even more loveable to the owners ^^ I'm only anal when it comes to people designing them to distribute to others- but even then, if someone isn't sticking to the anatomy, passing it off as a hybrid is enough to quell my scrooge nitpicky-ness haha. if I remember correct, the one you had was already a hybrid to begin with? so really, all the more reason to go full-force with a makeover, as gryphons are even more subject to interpretation ^^

I hadn't remembered the design all that thoroughly after all it seems but I was right about it being some kind of hybrid >:) gosh I am so envious of what a nice-looking ref that is, but at the same time I'm excited to see how much cooler this lil critter can become, elevated to even better heights! I look forwards to what you have in store for this character :D

honestly deleting social media can be a good idea! It is very distracting and hard to keep up with schoolwork when you want to check messages all the time

I've been awful busy I'll tell ya. Passed the semester amazingly enough considering how rough the classes were, now I'm packing boxes and working extra shifts to get ready to move and ... admittedly... shying away from the internet to indulge in oodles of art in my spare time because holy wow there's a lot of messages to catch up on ;w; clearly the best way to solve that is to avoid them, clearly lol

Oh work..work..and trying to avoid flooding. Otherwise I'm good, just playing around on TH as I figure out all my critters again...I did a purge where I saved all art and placed the characters on a flashdrive. Now that I have more time and found peace with my characters, I'm slowly uploading a few of them back...but it's gonna be a while before I get them all figured out completely <3 Other than that...same old same old :>
