How many? Three cats, a mini dachshund, two African clawed frogs, an American toad, and mystery snails.  I’m closest with our Bombay cat though. What are their names? Cats: Tortuga, Ned, Tobias; Dog: Stanley 

Ever been to another country? Only Canada (Montreal area and Toronto)

Do you want to? Yes! Norway, Iceland, Japan, and while not a country the Amundsen-Scott Base at the South Pole.

Favorite school subject? All the sciences, especially the natural sciences

Favorite beverage? Heh… I suck at favorites, but good cider (semi-dry to dry) is close enough to count

Favorite food? Same fav problem, but essentially any pizza from shitty bar pizza, frozen pizza, to glorious wood fired pizzas… my heart sings

Do you prefer books, movies, or video games?  It’s honestly a tossup between movies and books.  I love stories and storytelling and I like the medium that best conveys the story.  I struggle with focus and time to read as I wish so movies feature more prominently in my consumption, but both are fantastic.

Do you have any favorite books/movies/games? Favorites… ugh :p  I can’t.  Instead how about a few that are currently at the fore of my mind.  For books: MCA Hogarth’s Dream Healers, Adrian Tchaikovsky’s Doors of Eden, NK Jemisin’s Broken Earth Trilogy, Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles, Christine Leigh Heyrman’s Southern Cross, Larry Niven’s Known Space stories, Tolkien’s Middle Earth works, Pierce Brown’s Red Rising Trilogy, Peter Beagle’s The Last Unicorn… for movies: Underwater (2020), Arrival (2018), Annihilation, Tennant, The Last Hangover, Rare Exports, Incredibles, Avatar, Southbound, Alien… For games, my experience is only recent and limited but I’ve loved Prey, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Outer Worlds

Hello all,

Thank you all for the interest you’ve shown in my OCs and their world.

I have been quite inactive since late spring and wanted to offer my apologies and my encouragement that I should be back sooner than later to updating and hopefully writing some for Magical Earth.

I have been going through a really difficult situation at home for the last few years as I have been coming to see and come to terms with the abusiveness of the relationship I have with my partner of 20 years.  I also want to thank a couple friends here for their helping me see the abuse I was experiencing before I did, and loving me enough to speak up.  Without your help and love I would still be blind.

Sadly, as I’ve learned over the past month the root of what drives the abuse, it will never end or improve and I am just now looking at how to escape while still support our six minor kids.

Working through this through this summer has been all consuming and severely dampened my creativity… which I’ve missed.  I’m hoping now that I have a much better understanding of what is going on and know what I can do to somewhat protect myself from the abuse, and as I get finincial and legal advice on separation options, my creativity will gradually return.  I look forward to delivering more content in the form of OCs, bios, and stories.
