Update: 2/19/24 from my previous bulletin
So sorry on my delay for stuff. I just wanted to type out/post a quick update: I am getting back into the swing of things and will be pumping out owed art the next week or two to try and get caught back up.
As mentioned below, the last month has been unexpectedly awful and just left me unable to do anything for a few weeks (between being sick, my mom did have a stroke and is still not cleared to work/drive/ect), I've been the only person able to help take care of my grandmother (Who's on oxygen and cant walk) and the only one going to work, since my mom works where I do- and she was out, I had to work extra days to help cover for her which meant not much time to draw and around the family drama and work i've been too tired to even pretend to think about it.
I pumped out a bunch of sketches/linearts this weekend so expect things soon.
Thanks for patience, and sorry again on the holdup- I hate to make people wait I just can't have predicted or braced for this unfortunately. As usual, if things take too long they'll just be free as I feel that necessary.

I'm interested in finding some art trades to have fun with again since I've gotten my to-do list a bit more under control and I'm super itching for art of some of my characters; & I havent had much luck with commissions as of late (people keep just not finishing them which is kind of a bummer and im tired of throwing money at a wall or having to fight people over it lol)
I am looking for art of my Warrior cats (because they're my current for-fun revisit project); my pokemon (or trainers, if you prefer humans) Or Myra (In either creature or humanoid form)
Im pretty openminded in terms of trades as long as its generally fair! (Like, I wont do a fullbody for a noncolored headshot sketch, of course)

I need to open commissions again due to a striiinngg of unfortunate events putting my bank account lower than I'm comfy with. (I'm not dead broke or anything, so its no 'pressing' emergency)
I've been keeping commssions a little lax the past few months as I tried to adjust to my new work schedule, new friend groups, and issues within my family; but I really need to get a que going again and I think I'm finally in a place to do it (And kinda just need to kick myself in the butt to do so)

I can do christmas gifts, as long as you tell me in advance that they're gifts needing done before christmas
If I owe you something previously: I fully intend to complete it, and it will be free as apologies for the wait. I know sometimes I fall behind and things take a minute (You're welcome to give me a nudge if its been at least a few weeks) , I always finish them sooner or later sometimes time just gets away from me a bit lol. That's why I make things free if they take too long, if I can't finish it in a reasonable time I don't expect you to hold any payment that long.
DISCLAIMER: this is a rant below just updating on everything that's going on and why I've been so out of things. You by NO MEANS have to read this, it's just relevant to those who are friends/or interested in keeping updated with me I guess; or were interested in further information/explanation.
I have been super all over the place this year- It's been an incredibly rough one for me. Ill try and gist summarize
I got a new (used) car in January, it was fine until probably August, when it decided to start coming up with all sorts of problems and has cost me thousands to try and repair despite running perfectly prior to that
I started a new job in July. my previous job, I could work at home all the time so I could draw always, but my job was slowly 'quiet' firing me (Cutting my hours, refusing to give me a raise); it wasn't sustainable with aforementioned car costs. my new job is a 9 hour (1 hour lunch) day with a -1 1/2 hour total commute (so I don't get home until 7-pmish and I have to leave at 7am-ish; leaving me very limited time to draw things. Though I am off on the weekends so those are my primary work hours.
I have three cats now, (Which I regaled you all with previously) that I didn't have before, and one of our dogs passed away (due to old age, he was 20 years old so it was not unexpected); Supplies for the cats, vet bills, ect have very much added up. With the addition of things they break being rowdy cats y'know.
My grandmother's health has taken an awful decline. She was basically my second parent growing up and while we definitely have our issues. (Being, that she's aggressively conservative you can fill in the blanks); I lived with her for many years and she's still my grandmother. She's had heart problems since her twenties (She's in her 60s now); and having lung problems and on an oxygen machine. She's been in and out of the hospital multiple times the past few months (often unexpectedly, which means I want to do things...but then I can't because this comes up); I spend a lot of time helping her, grocery shopping, ect on her behalf and we have to check on her every day since she has no other caregivers. (between me and my mother); Which is usually largely extremely unpleasant and emotionally draining because she's also very hateful/rude towards us the entire time. She also doesn't seem to care about her own health (she literally will take off her oxygen machine to go outside and smoke a cigarette ? Like? We can't even help you if you do nonsense like that).
On top of it, my extended family (Grandmother's siblings, cousins,ect) are now arguing over her will and who "gets her cars" and house and ectect which spurs up a whole slew of arguments (When, defaultly- my grandmother only has one child, so my mother would theoretically be the only one anyways.)
She's also got a massive problem with tiktok BS trends to the point she's literally run herself dry of money for medical bills buying so many crystals and "essential oils" you can't even walk around her house without tripping on them (it makes me massively claustrophobic tbh)
Anyways, I'm alright for the most part, just really exhausted. I really want to find joy in drawing again but its hard when I feel like im being pulled in 500 directions
I keep wanting to do things and wanting to draw things but not being able to or not having the time for projects I would have used to have had time for so I get frustrated not having the time and energy for things I used to be able to just do on a whim creatively
I do want to draw more and want to get back on track with commissions, but it felt like I fell behind and everything when it came to art just felt grey and bland to me- i didnt have any love for it- and while I hate to keep people waiting I also don't feel like its fair for me to give people art that I can't put my heart into; so I think getting some new ones to get on top of will help motivate me to garner some steam again; and doing those breedings recently really helped light a spark ive been missing after the break I had to take from it all (Thanks mostly to the new job kicking my behind lol)
I find it easier to motivate myself and then keep going into things that im struggling to find energy for, than to try and force myself to draw things i really dont feel like; I guess that's why I keep trying to jumpstart things.
Rolling downhill instead of uphill, yknow? But this time I actually don't have a lot of choice if I want to try and get my savings back to form so I've got motivation by necessity going for me, lol.
Hiyo! I'm really wanting to get some art of myra in her new form to flush out her gallery a bit (Either human or feral is fine); so i'm interested in trading characters for art!
I'd love to do art trades or buy commissions but I haven't had much luck finding comms I vibe with and I don't have as much time for trades as I wish I did (Though I super want to draw l;fhlkdh its killing me; this job)
So I'm just looking to cut down on characters and trade for some art.
I'd prefer art offers for stuff in the trade/sale folder; however you are welcome to ask about anyone else if you want (I just might decline depending on attachments or rules.)

if they're trade/sale I'll probably be a bit less picky though.
I will consider other offers as they may come up but art is my current priority.
