I have this guy I'm thinking about finding a new home for, but since I essentially got him for free, I can't sell/trade him. Before I put him out there, did you want him? He's pretty cool, but I just don't like having him languish, especially since I don't think I'm going to get him any art or anything like that.
Hm, I think I could find a nice place for him among my characters. :3 Right off the bat I think he might fit in with some of my dragon-rider characters I've been slowly assembling, since the two relatively new ones I've add to the still-pretty-empty roster have been an adopt and a dollmaker design. XD So, if you're sure you don't want him, he can join up with them then~

Hehe, yeah, I'm a much faster at writing than I am at drawing. ^^; Still need to draw so many of them fresh references, but at least I can work on their profiles without much issue. Only have a few dozen more to finish up writing before I feel okay with adding more characters I haven't uploaded yet, but golly I still have to draw hundreds of them... And thanks~ I appreciate that.

Sheesh, and I think it's a daunting project when I create a brand-new character. xD You just pop em out left and right!
Just gotta make the character when I'm feeling motivated, otherwise I'll just waste the creative juices. ^^; If only there weren't so many... Aside from randomly thinking about them on a whim, I still have issues just picking them out consciously to work on. Can't rely on spontaneous inspiration all the time.

Yes, your characters are very interesting, and I find their personalities to be unique! :D And don't worry about creating too many characters; it's really fun to create them after all. ^^
Also, like you, Minty is an inspiration to me as well. I believe I was 12-13 at the time I read her Pokemon Colosseum fanfic. She also inspired me to write and create artwork, and I really respect her! ^^

Aw, thank you. :3 Sometimes I have way too many ideas for my own good, because I certainly can't keep up with all of them. I haven't written nearly as much as their development suggests, but I suppose once I do get down to writing to completion finally they'll already be well developed. XD
Ah, that story was quite the wonder. I still remember how excited when big sister Minty would print out her newest chapter and we'd sit down on either of our beds and she'd read the whole thing to me, with all the fun voices and whatnot... And of course whatever big sis did I did too. XD She drew, I wanted to draw, she wrote, I wanted to write... I even wrote a wonderfully horrendous fanfiction comic of her fanfiction... Boy oh boy, that gorgeous train wreck. ^^;
I still need to upload so many... And a bunch of them are due for redesigns... Gah so much drawing I'll have to do. I don't have very many Pokemon OCs of my own mostly because I just latch onto Minty's fanworld and characters. XD I only have my one uploaded at the moment... and now that I think about it, he might be the only one. Oh well. ^^;

I have many ideas in mind for future stories, but the best I can do is jot them down instead of actually writing out the planned stories. ^^; And yes, once you write your story, your characters will be fleshed out because you already took the time to develop them. ^^
Yep! Because of it, I plan to write my own Pokemon Colosseum fanfic someday. Ah, I can relate to uploading and designs of characters as well. And drawing! I actually plan to upload some of my old and scrapped OCs because I still somewhat acknowledge them. After all, they are what I call "ancestors" of some of my OCs that I've created from their character. I have made several characters based off of them, now that I think about it. ^^; Also, yep, Minty's Pokemon characters are really well-developed and relatable! I think my favorite out of all of them was Travis or Kimberly. They were really unique characters. ^^ And it's okay to have one Pokemon character! There's nothing wrong with that. ^^

I've been slowly making progress on a lot of my side projects and stuff because they're a lot smaller than the huge stories I tried to write as a kid and now need to revamp... Them big stories are the center of the big world almost all my other stories take place in, so I feel like my written foundation is a little shaky since I'm writing while pretending those stories are already done so readers already have an idea about the world. ^^;
She's a fabulous big sis. She actually humors all the ridiculousness I put her characters through. XD I really wish I could've finished the sequel comic I wrote for the first one, but my art style has improved quite a bit since then so there would be a jump in quality for the not-purposely-poorly-drawn sections. ^^; Maybe I should revamp the entire comic.
There's a huge chunk of my characters from my original story ideas when I was in 2nd-4th grade. That was around the time when Minty was really writing lots of those stories. Colosseum came out at the end of 2003, and of course I watched Minty play it every step of the way. Her writing that big story of her own was probably what got me coming up with a bunch of stories of my own. But of course they're ridiculous, kiddy, and not really that planned out, but I still love them so now I have to retcon and revamp all of them. Ah Travis, I keep drawing him like a glorified janitor. XD Minty mentions he ends up doing a lot of crappy jobs even though he's got a pretty nice rank, and that somehow translated into me always doodling him with a broom. At least Minty doesn't mind me doing goofy things with her babies.
