I don't actually know what to say here, so as a placeholder, I'm going to write the dialogue for a scene from The Lion King.
[This is the scene when grown-up Simba meets Rafiki, and the babboon leads him on through a dense thicket, claiming that Mufasa is alive. "He's alive! And I'll show him to you. Follow old Rafiki, he knows the way!" Simba follows eagerly, until they reach a pond. Rafiki beckons him to look, but all Simba sees is his own face staring back at him. He sighs, disappointed.]
(Simba) "That's not my father. That's just my reflection."
(Rafiki) "No, look harder."
[ Rafiki implores Simba to look again, and this time as Simba leans closer, the water ripples... ]
(Rafiki) "You see, he lives in you."
[ The ripples clear, and there before him is the face of his father, the late king Mufasa. As his eyes widen with surprise, he hears a voice call to him from the clouds above... ]
(Mufasa) "Simba..."
(Simba) "Father...?"
(Mufasa) "Simba, you have forgotten me."
(Simba) "No! How could I?"
(Mufasa) "You have forgotten who you are, and so you have forgotten me. Look inside yourself Simba. You are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle of Life."
(Simba) "How can I go back? I'm not who I used to be."
(Mufasa) "Rememeber who you are. You are my son, and the one true King. Remember who you are."
[ The cloud formation begins to fade away as Mufasa's visage echoes, "Remember, remember". ]
(Simba) "No, please! Don't leave me! Father! Don't leave me."
