"A damn glutton," he uttered with an expressionless face, the seriousness of his statement quickly giving way to a wry smile. "Yeah, I know that's rich coming from me." Leaning back in his seat, he recalled the various moments he had shared with Milan. "One thing's for sure, he definitely sees me as nothing more than another slab of meat," he continued, a hint of amusement in his voice. "How do I know? Well... it takes one to know one."
"Who knew that a fellow predator would taste so good?"
Animalistic by nature, Milan is biding his time to eventually consume Seth for his eldritch but overwhelming power. But of course, the agent isn't someone that would fall easily for his charms or traps, given how he's dealing with a fellow hunter here. For now, the Cheshire cat has to stay content with devouring Seth in other ways while playing a much different game...
"Randomly met this fella, called Cayden at the pub. At first, I thought he was pretty menacing. He's got a tattoo and piercings, and he's really built. I even thought it might be fun to start a playful fight or something. He looked strong and I was curious to see how I'd do against him" She smirked mischievously as she crossed her arms, "But well, once we started talking, I realized he was a total sweetheart. We just talked about our interests, jobs, and our hobbies. I even found out he's into cookin' and how he enjoys packing lunch every day for his little lady. Who would've thought he was such a darlin' with that appearance, eh?" She laughed. "Overall, he's actually a really friendly guy, despite his intimidating appearance."
"We met in a bar. She was mindin' her own business 'till she got drunk," he laughed. "She is hella funny when she's drunk, but is also prone to starting brawls. I got dragged into one of her brawls by a dude who mistook me for her buddies, I tried my best to de-escalate, but she busted alot of faces that night." Cayden leaned back to his seat and said, "Makes you wonder though, despite her loud and fun vibe, I feel like her there's always something weighing heavily on her mind." "...Well, it's not my business to poke too much, but whatever it is, I believe she can overcome it. After all, she has that warrior spirit and companions who'll support her through thick and thin."
"Aria, my dearest friend, despite her naturally timid nature she is one who is determined in her pursuit of the art of witchcraft. Her dedication has been a sight to behold. Every day, I see how she fervently studied and practiced the intricacies of magic, and it fills me with joy to see her skills flourish. The fire in her heart reminds me so much of my own fervor when I first began, It really does bring back fond memories of my own journey in mastering the art of magic." She says, with a soft smile on her face. "Aria's unwavering dedication to her own craft also encourages me to continue striving hard for my own goals, as well. Aria's potential as a great witch is undeniable, and I am eager to see where her path in the craft takes her."
"Ms. Valerian is exceptional when it comes to magic, her dedication to her studies and skills never fails to amaze me!" she proudly exclaimed, "Not only that, but she is also an amazing instructor. She rarely does classes, but when she does, I try to adjust my schedule to be able to attend." Kind, confident, and strong is how Aria describes Reselda. She hopes that one day, she would be able to become someone like her. "I-I also see her as a friend," she added. "She has supported me through tough times a-and I hope she understands that she doesn't have to shoulder everything on her own, she can depend on me too."
"We got off on such shitty terms," he let out a disappointed sigh. "And it was all because I jumped the gun." Being able to intimidate targets is second nature to agents like him, but intimidating the wrong one? He rubbed his forehead as the memories of that night flooded his mind...Luckily for him, Isolde clearly isn't predisposed to violence and would prefer to settle things peacefully. He hopes they both can let bygones be bygones, but deep down, he understands that she will definitely remember.
"... We're fine now."
She's lying, by the way. Isolde still feels unsettled by the ASI agent who so unceremoniously and abruptly had her pinned against the wall that one night at the party. Even if he cleared it up to her and apologised for his mistake, the composer couldn't help but recall of darker times, when she had no autonomy or the means to fight back. Isolde will still try her best to look past Seth's actions, although old habits and fears tend to die pretty hard.
