Le Maison de Chat

Le Maison de Chat (otherwise known as "The Cat House") is an extravagant cabaret and tourist attraction, one of the founding places that led to the introduction of cabarets across Europe. Full of festive champagne evenings where people dance and are entertained thanks to amusing acts that change regularly inspired by circus attractions and the particularly rich cultural exuberance of the time. It also serves a function not unlike a halfway house for vagrant souls to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
