a cozy little bakery located in the country side. the bakery is owned by lilibet tumble and is a very cozy, warm location that gets quite a bit of local business. all of the locals love the owner and consider her a community essential. the bakery is wildly successful and makes some of the best apple pie, apple fritters, apple caramel cookies, cinnamon apple cake, etc. it does have other kinds of pastries and baked goods, but the apple-based goods are the main attraction. the inside of the cafe always smells pleasantly like cinnamon and fresh bread, and has a small area where people can sit in and eat if they'd like. regulars are known to get discounts and special treatment, too.
an intense arcade that means life or death. competitive participants come here to play intense arcade games in a literal virtual reality, where dying in the game means death in real life. the arcade features an old retro theme and old retro-themed games. the arcade and its machines are powered by demonic magic and souls of the dead that have failed at the games themselves. otherwise, it looks like a regular arcade. some go in blind, unknowing of the threat of losing, and some go in fully knowing, wanting the adrenaline rushes and thrill from playing.
a corporation that mass produces custom-made digital assistants who are essentially sentient AIs. they are sold in the form of a usb drive that can be uploaded to ones phone / laptop with a singular time use and no more- the usb will become obsolete after as to prevent people from having more than one of the same digigotch. they are typically customized with a personality and appearance to fit the person ordering the usb drive. they are always humanoid in appearance and can speak to their device owners through the screen or through text boxes. they essentially hang around in ones folders or on ones desktop, treating it like their own little space / home. digigotch come pre-set with a personality of the persons choosing, but they can learn / develop depending on how the device owner interacts / treats them. occasionally counterfeit digitgotch's are sold on the black market- they essentially act the same, except they are viruses and tend to be more rebellious and impossible to remove from a device once uploaded. they typically steal information. digigotch's all genuinely express feelings and emotions and are highly aware of their purpose and them being in a digital computer setting. it is considered immoral to terminate them to some, but to others they are simply computer programs.
digicorp also has a digital idol mascot digigotch and they are used to advertise digicorp's products and new features.
a fae history museum filled with gorgeous paintings, sculptures, etc throughout fae culture. the art pieces in this museum become lively and animate at night.
a neutral territory bar that has several entrances in different cities, but it all leads to the same place via magic- a bar located in a pocket dimension. this bar is typically relaxed and calm, as violence is strictly prohibited. this bar is often used for demon and angel intermingling, as it's very looked down upon typically, and special wards are applied to keep angels and demons alike from bringing in god-damaging weaponry or using their abilities at all. this is a hotspot for negotiating between angels and demons, as it's on neutral ground, and it's a common place for demons and angels to go on dates if they happen to be involved.
the cherry on top diner is a 50s styled diner in the country side of bismarck. it's a hotspot for younger people and couples. it's especially busy at night, and serves burgers, hot dogs, etc and always has 50s music playing. the employees there sometimes sing and perform in the diner for entertainment as well. it's a pretty regular diner otherwise, with pretty regular customers- it's a relaxing place to go for lunch or dinner or anytime, really.
Eden Bookshop has been around for a very long time. as long as anyone can remember, the bookshop has existed in the middle of ambrosia, always immaculate and consistent and organized, just like the bookshop owner known as Mr. Lafayette, and truly named Azrael. azrael prefers to work mostly alone alongside his son and apprentice, jorah and noah respectively, two young angels he's taken literally and metaphorically under his wings. he's teaching them how to control their abilities as angelic beings, and how to adapt as mortals and not just angels, and they help him around the bookshop and watch it when he's away on business.
a fitting name for a weapons dealer shop run by demons. the weapons here range for being built for mortals and others being built for divinity, depending on the buyer, and if they know the password. the demons working here don't really give out who they work under, if anyone- they could just be rogue weapon dealers who like to see hell break loose. they occasionally sell overly powerful, dangerous weapons to mortals to cause chaos and mix things up a bit. weapons can be customized here, and many things sold at this little hole in the wall are magically enhanced or enchanted.
a fancy salon run by exclusively angels. these angels are literal miracleworkers. they're capable of making one's hair longer or shorter, fixing bad dye jobs or repairing damage done to ones hair by bleach or irons, fixing unwanted blemishes, and even helping people transition if they can't afford to do it the old fashioned surgical way. the salon was founded and run by uriel out of desire to give mortal plane bound angels a practical use of their abilities and to help mortals in a way he thought was most fitting.
lovely diamonds is a small and cutesy looking club filled with pale workers- which are people who will cuddle, comfort and listen to people in exchange for payment. the people who work here sort of have to have a friendly demeanor, seem approachable, or at least fake both of them. most of the pale workers here have good natures, but some are just playing pretend for the payment of it. earthdwellers and skywalkers are most common in this field due to their soft, approachable appearances and aesthetics.
a cafe that's very soft and magical on the inside. this cafe is run by a gentlemanly unicorn named malcolm. the unicorn cafe sells positive emotions in the form of tea, which can be used on oneself or on someone else. this place is open to everyone and even sells regular teas and coffees, but the emotion/feeling ones are granted upon request for the right price.
a mlm exclusive host club that's very popular. it's expensive and people need to book months in advance to get a spot, but it's worth it. this host club is run by well dressed charming men that anyone would pay to have a drink with. these people play their parts in the host club quite well. most of them are inviting and friendly and desirable people in different ways.
this morgue is run by shady individuals. while none of these folks are malicious, being around them gives an eerie feeling to most. they all work at the morgue together in some way, so most of them have strong stomachs with dealing with the dead.
damage mods is a body mod shop that ranges from heavy modifications such as adding horns and extreme piercings to regular piercings, scarification, tattoos, etc. this mod shop works with individuals who can stomach the act, and most of them are pretty laid back and chatty. these folks like to banter with each other as well. everyone who works here has to have a little spunk to them.
a diner made for undeads. the food here is made from the flesh of humanoids to feed undeads who need such to survive. the dirty work is done by pascale and her employees. she is not malevolent, but simply trying to feed people in a safe way. she targets mostly unsavory people or people who try to harm her first. this diner looks like a typical roadside diner- it's tiny and quaint and even has a luxurious garden on the outside.
nimbus spa is a luxurious spa owned by blanche fawcett. the spa is located in rio on iris island, and uses real clouds as part of their available treatments. customs can get massages, facials, electrolysis, aromatherapy, hair styling, exfoliating body wraps, tanning, and more.
odayaka springs is a bath house located in iris islands in a fae marketplace that's hidden with magic. once night falls, fae arrive in droves to soothe themselves in the bath house. the bath house hosts baths with varying types of herbal soaks, massages, food, and hotel rooms. odayaka springs was created for fae, but will take any species of customer.
a tropical resort with games, pools, cruises and expensive hotels. this place is the perfect vacation spot for new couples, honeymoons, and just people looking to get a way for a while. while rainbow resort can have tons of parties, it has a lot of relaxing aspects to it as well, and sunbathing, fruity drinks and surfing contests are not out of the question. this place is always warm and the weather is always nice. it's very cheap, due to the local deity being the owner and not needing money for any reason, and makes gold and silver using minerals from the island itself. it's a perfect spot for a get away or vacation.
the strawberry cafe is a cute little maid cafe located in lunemoor. it consists of cute, pink dressed folks in adorable maid outfits. this cafe is a hot spot for people who just got off work and it's a nice date site as well. like the rest of lunemoor, it's peaceful and enjoyable- there's always pleasant music playing in the background of this pleasant little cafe.
the carnal house is a club that is a neutral ground for all undeads and clans. no one is allowed to feud here and it's simply a hidden place for these species to mingle without worry. this club is on the secretive side of things- it's not known by many people and is more underground- only undeads really know about it. it serves cuisine for undeads as well, and most people who go there have membership passes. no one really finds out about this club unless they're explicitly invited. to avoid undead hunters, it's guised as a regular but lowkey club, and people usually aren't allowed to talk about it.
the lotus is a very fancy club with singing, pole dancers and really expensive alcohol. people here are pretty open about their sexuality and the parties here tend to get pretty intense and touchy. this club is massive and expensive, but worth it if ones looking for a good time. a lot of single people go here for a good time.
