A time fueled by survival, avengement, and yet hope lingered on the horizon. A war between mutant and human set the course for a new world order. Eventually victorious, mutants could finally live unafraid and in the shadows no longer. However with a clear winner and loser, would this be true peace? Or will the aftermath cause a sting that lingers on forever?

After the war, 10,000 years had past (though not without many conflicts and battles along the way). This is the time when the delicate balance of light and dark is discovered and people live along this balance. To take and give back. To respect the cycle of growth and decay; the nature of chaos and order. Two powerful mutants, Zaeyar and Oaris, are seen as deities who protect the balance. If something were to happen to one, the other would perish, leaving chaos and disorder in their wake. Though over the centuries, people lose sight of the meaning and the balance breaks. What was once chaos and order turn into a dark reality that leads to destruction and despair.
