Clover Colony

Clover Colony, Hills of Art & Excess

Introduction

Sunlight beams on the rolling green hills of Clover, glinting off the intricate metalwork of its famed aqueducts. Water is pumped to the center of its continent, purified of salt and filtered to perfection, used in the capital Phytomea as decoration, drink, and indulgence all at once.

Sheltered from the worst of the war within their knolls, Clover has flourished in the worlds of art and creativity. Decoration and beauty are at the forefront of their creations. Nourished by Myrme's largest farm arrays, they have grown both complacent and happy in their easy lifestyle, reaping the benefits of their idealized former leaders' wars.

They are the world's superpower, rich and freed from the shackles of war. But with Ink's aggression... perhaps that safety may be contested.

Main Members

Leader: Cleverly
Director of Internal Affairs: Jules
Commander of the Army: Sprig

In general, Clovians are idealistic, creative, thoughtful, airheaded, loving, and nemophilistic.

Their closest allies are Letter Colony, with whom they share a border and a plethora of trade. Letter provides raw materials and weapons; Clover provides crops and refined goods.

Their fiercest rivals are Ink Colony, though their antagonism is not historical. Disgusted at Ink's disregard for life and massacre of Rain Colony, Clover has taken it upon itself to stand as the world hegemon against Ink's might, however tentative that may be.

Areas & Territories

Capital: Phytomea
Other Cities: Firset Island

Though Clover's continent is huge and fully under its control, only two major cities persist: Phytomea, the glorious capital; and Firset, the harbor of trade and first line of defense.

The jewel of the colony, Phytomea lives in the lap of luxury. Free to pursue creative growth, it is splattered with colorful mosaics, elaborate architecture, stunning statues, vibrant paintings, and wealth bursting at the seams. Surrounded by enormous farms, it wants for little.

Firset, starkly, is but a small outpost against a rocky island. They keep careful watch over Shell trade ships, Letter visitors, and Abyssal scouts, ensuring Phytomea has no need to fret.
