hello it’s neo! it’s been a while (4ish months I think!) but I really want to update you all. I’ve been on a sudden hiatus for a while, and firstly I want to apologize for leaving so long with almost no heads up, and no updates until now. I announced a kind of hiatus on my discord around December, intending to return after my exams, but some unfortunate events happened, and to make it short, my aunt passed away.

typically, I wouldn’t be on such a long hiatus for a family death, but the sudden death of said aunt left my family with having to take in another family member that was living with her. on top of this, my aunts death made my mom severely depressed. not only having to house another family member, but having to deal with my aunts passing + having to pay for said family member with the limited money we had took a toll on her, which ultimately took a toll on me. eventually it was hard to pay all the bills, so internet and phone bills and sometimes the water bill were neglected. on top of that, I still had school, so it was a bit much for me. we’re a lot better financially now so don’t worry!

I don’t want sympathy, I really just want to apologize for being gone for so long! I feel like I could’ve returned a little earlier, probably around february, but I was a bit anxious. I know I went on hiatus while I had some commissions to do, so I will finish/refund anyone who commissioned me! on another note, I missed all my friends here, but I’m going to think hard about what I want to do as an artist. after I finish refunding/doing commissions, I’m not sure I’ll do any commissions anymore! perhaps just personal art ^^
