I know this is a lot but do make sure to read though it. Most of it is common sense that you would follow anyway, but there are a few things here you won't see every day, and all of it is important!

The Commissioning Process

☆I value honesty and communication between commissioner and artist, and will always let you know if things are going slow! I will never back out of an art trade or a commission or something I specifically told you I'd draw, but I will sometimes need to take a couple of months to be able to get things done, especially during the school season. I will also try to give you the option to end the trade/commission if I feel I'm being unfairly slow and haven't gotten too far.

 ☆I'll always do my best to be honest and open! You can check my progress here. If you still worry, you can definitely ask to see more WIPs, sketches, or regularly check up on what I'm doing!

☆The time it takes to complete art varies. I am a student, and am often very busy! I try not to rush it so that you have the best quality I can offer, so please be patient <3 You can always ask to see it's progress!

☆ If you choose to have a traditional piece mailed to you, I will need you to send me your shipping address! However, I promise to keep this information completely confidential.

☆I am always willing to discuss things with you! If you have a problem or a question please ask me! I don't bite <3

Payment

☆I only provide refunds until after I have finished the sketch. Once I move on from that I cannot provide refunds: I cannot take back work I have already done. Please be aware of that!
*If there is a real issue, please contact me. I am usually super understanding and if there is a real issue I am always willing to help out and try to come up with a solution! Especially if the commission is not completely finished yet.

☆ I keep your payment separate until I have completed your commission: I don't consider that money mine until you've gotten what you paid for, so there's no need to worry about me spending your money before your commission is done. 

☆ While I generally accept payment before starting or after a sketch WIP, I am also open to half-before/half-after, or any other system you need if necessary! Just let me know and we can figure something out.

Edits and Updates to Commissions

☆If you are not happy with the art you receive, please do not feel bad about asking me to change anything! You have paid for the art and you deserve to like the product.

⋆☆ You are absolutely welcome to redline a sketch/wip you get from me if there's something specific you would like changed! Seriously, I want you to be happy with the art you are getting, and am happy to make changes!

☆If you change a character's design before I submit the commission, let me know right away! I will make sure to change the commission to reflect the most up-to date design, no matter how far into the drawing I am. I will not do this if you change the character's design more than once though! If you are unsure about the design you should refrain from commissioning me art of that specific character.

☆If you would ever like me to update an older piece of artwork with an updated design and minimal line edits, send me a note! I keep almost all my old files so I would be happy to do that, though more complex edits may require a small price.

Use of the Art

☆When you commission me, you own the image!
you are free to use it for personal use anywhere, as long as you credit me when possible!
I try to put my username on the art, but do not rely on that alone; credit for my artwork is very important.

☆You are NOT allowed to use or sell this art as any form of blockchain or NFT. Doing so will result in immediate blacklist.

☆My commissions are not for you to profit off of unless given permission beforehand. If I find you are selling my artwork or making profit off of it in any way without my permission, you will be given only one warning to stop the process completely.
☆However, if you want to make merch or some other sort of profit with my artwork, contact me beforehand and I would be happy--absolutely honored--to work with you on that! Communication and permission are key, however.
Selling a character that comes with artwork by me is an exception, of course; What you should refrain from doing would be selling specifically for a profit, such as printing or making merch with my art, using it as a base to sell stolen art, etc.

☆NEVER remove the watermark/signature from my art. NEVER claim my art as your own.
These actions are obviously intentional and dishonest--doing so will result in a warning from me. Continuing these offences after a warning will result in being blacklisted by me.

☆You have no permission whatsoever to use art that was not made for you/not of your character/that does not belong to you. Be honest, and don't be rude.

☆You may own art you buy from me, but so do I: I retain ownership of all my art, including paid commissions. I reserve the right to use any piece of art I have created, including paid work, for my own purposes. This mostly means using it in portfolios/as examples of my work. (I won't go using it as my profile pic or anything like that). However, I do not claim any ownership of your characters.

|| Designs ||
this applies to any design I have created, be it a custom, an 'adopt', or anything else!

☆If you receive a design/character by me, you are free to do whatever you wish with it; it becomes completely yours.
☆The original design must still always be credited to me.
I retain ownership of the original artwork and credits to the design, but if you would prefer me to not publicly show your character in my portfolio or as examples of my work, you are welcome to let me know and I will respect that preference! However, I will not relinquish rights to my work without prior discussion.

☆You are NOT allowed to use or sell this design/character as any form of NFT. Doing so will result in immediate blacklist.

☆You may sell, trade, or gift the character if you want!
☆you may draw your character freely, whenever you want! it is yours, of course.
☆you may absolutely change the design, species, personality, gender, etc of your character! Using it shows me you're giving it love <3

☆Credit me for the original design! You are welcome to @ me any or every time you draw them, because I really love seeing my designs used <3

☆Unless you have specific permission, you may not make your own character of my closed species, or change the traits of an already existing one.

★I would prefer if you do not use my designs or characters for sexual/NSFW/etc, content! This is not what I make them for and I do not support this kind of art. However, once you buy it it belongs to you and you can do with it what you want~

☆You may not use characters of my closed species [Swampits] for pornagraphic content. They are very personal creation to me. Doing so will result in a blacklist from the future purchase of designs of this species.

★If I discover you have used any of my designs for illegal, hateful or offensive content you will be blacklisted from future design purchases.

|| Consequences ||

If you fail to follow certain of these regulations, such as stealing designs and art, crediting it as yours, using it for illegal reasons, etc, there will be consequences.
Most of the time, I'll first give you a warning, letting you know you have violated my terms of service. I'll make sure you know that continuing to do so will result in a blacklist.
⋆Knowingly ignoring this warning or repeating a violation will get you on my blacklist, meaning I will no longer do business with you. I keep my blacklist private; however, artists are welcome to ask to see it anytime so they can also avoid problematic customers.
