hey guys! i basically went into like a kind of week in solitude to rest after school. these upcoming weeks will mean more activity. but this summer I want to try new things, and really commit to them! so some things I'm gonna experiment with include adopts/customs and streaming, and if everything goes well, maybe even a patreon for art/commissions and drawing tutorials/references, focused on both digital and traditional media and building important art and character development skills. . . .. . .yeah, im a little spooked too but it's something i've always wanted to do!
ANYWAY since my patreon goal is a goal for much much later, i wanted to ask:
(you dont have to answer all of these hahaha) -What kinds of adopts are you interested in, or would like to see? (alternatively, what kind of adopts and characters are you TIRED of seeing????) -Do you enjoy characters with only an image, or a character that comes partially developed? By that i mean, I give you an image of the character, and maybe personality ideas or traits. (Of course, those would be totally changeable or optional if you are not interested in that.) -What catches your eye the most when you see a new design you would like to buy? -Which are you more likely to pick if you had the choice, a custom or a premade design? both are fine!

rn i dont know what i would want cuz im not really looking for designs anymore, but something that never seems to fail is lolita/cutesy styles or simply just edo inspired styles / traditional clothing of sorts so maybe try to do something around it? i mean i tend to almost always include an edo inspired style in my adopt sets and usually thats the first one that gets sold qvq

I'm mentioned this earlier today but, at this point I'm kind of interested in more punk or street based designs ?? I feel like this isn't something I've seen very often, though maybe I'm just also not looking in the right places. Off the top of my head I can't think of any that I'm tired of seeing per say, but it any come up I'll be sure to edit this comment or reply to it or whatever and let you know!
As for the character being partially developed, this probably isn't how other people decide on adopts, so I don't know if this is the best opinion to have but I usually want adopts when I can see myself giving the character character traits myself. As in I could see them being x personality or getting along with a character or something. So I think that while personality traits would be interesting!! That they should be optional like you said above, or maybe that could hinder someone buying an adopt. Or in some cases, it might have someone want the adopt ?? That's kind of tricky hmm..
As for what catches my eye, what I said above is usually the case if that makes sens e. And I usually go with premade, but that's because I'm just generally indecisive omg. I think having a mixture of premade and custom (with custom being after a few premades are made to show your designs and such) would be the best option to go with!! I hope this was able to help you at least a little bit, and that you're able to sell a lot of adopts!! \ o /
